Check this spreadsheet here and track with me the value of the products that i open. docs.google.com/spreadsheets/... thanks for watching, hope you had fun :)
Love the Idea of your spindown bottle, I kind of keep mine with the rest of my dice(I play DND) but i might keep them separate now! (also this is also for the giveaway)
I really enjoy these pack opening vids. I'd buy so many just for the thrills of opening them. This way I can experience the thrill of opening packs without all the cost and clean up....
@@tcgloveopenings I'm learning the ropes on the card exchange hoping to find some great deals... Google shopping has some scam links to cards, which was today's learning experience. Google doesn't vet sites they advertise and promote for, I've learned....
"I wish i could have a friend to play it with, i still don't have any friends since the last set" is one of the funniest things i've heard in a while... subbed! I'd play a game with you friend, if i could... Also, love the Jumpstart "format", it's so fun for casual play and new players but these jumpstart boxes per set are an insult to any consumer who's played before as is almost everything Wizards seems to do anymore. The first Jumpstart is amazing.
I like a lot the idea of "fights" between products, I hope to see more of these. Also the ikoria land is a triome, not a fetchland, those are the cards that say "sacrifice this land, go find [type of land] in your deck and put it on the battlefield" :)
Nice opening - even if the loss of value is really big. I find it very exciting to see all the products with prices. Aside from Ragavan, there's not much for me in this set. The set opens massive and the single card price is kind of in the toilet. The last set was better in price. Cheers
Surrak and Goreclaw for example seem like a pretty good card but it looks very overprinted in the Jumpstart so probably gonna be pretty cheap. Not that I mind, most of the set should be as cheap as possible to allow for as many people to play the cards they want to play as possible.
I like how you deliver your video. It's a shame that you didn't have more luck with the cards. My favourite pull was the seizan. Im not really a fan of the jumpstart side of the game. I am, however, thankful to people like yourself for showing me what is in them. I wish you better luck with the next box openings.
So, this jumpstart product has the same theme symbol as the main set. Jumpstart sets usually had a different symbol to be diferenced with the main set cards. Maybe I'm wrong, but it's curious to me. Great to see unpacking variety among your vids, great job!
It can be a little confusing, but any set that totes itself as Jumpstart and not part of a standard set offering, such as Jumpstart and Jumpstart 2022, this can be considered "Original Jumpstart" or "Legacy Jumpstart" as it has a pool of new cards as well as reprints from a wide variety of sets. These sets usually stand on their own, have a unique gimmick with them, like a unique basic land in each pack or an anime art card, and are typically better value. Any set that has a standard naming, such as "March of the Machine Jumpstart" or "Phyrexia: All Will Be One Jumpstart", anything that would be considered part of a standard set and thus have the standard set symbol, will be this offshoot of the Original Jumpstart we know. We typically call this "Standard Jumpstart". Instead of playing with a bunch of legacy cards, you'll be playing with a bunch of draft chaff cards that originate from the set, and instead of the huge variance of the Original Jumpstart products with all the themes, you're mostly getting one or two themes per color, which leaves around 5 - 10 themes max per box with little variation. The main difference between the Standard and Original packs is that the Standard packs guarantee you two rares, a pre-seeded rare and a random rare for the color of the theme from the set. The pre-seeded rare should only show up in the Standard Jumpstart boosters, as they are unique to the product, but WOTC kinda messed it up with including these rares in the Set Boosters as part of the wild card slot, meaning the premium-ness of these pre-seeded cards have little to no worth. Also, on a related note, MOM offers the multiverse legends bonus sheet, which is kind of the big draw to cracking packs as you can get legacy legendary creatures from the standard and set booster pack offerings. These bonus sheet cards, as seen in the video, do not show up in the Standard Jumpstart product, which makes them an even less appealing option for opening. Now, for March of the Machine, WOTC kinda went out of their way to add more uniqueness to the pack's card pools by introducing an extra common and uncommon card for each color. This doesn't exactly fix the issue of a lack of appealing cards to pull, and it'll just be more chaff cards that won't see play. People like to play the game, but they want to feel like they made positive value more, which is where Standard Jumpstart fails while Original Jumpstart Succeeds, because Original Jumpstart can just have a crazy pool of unique cards while Standard offerings are limited to the set and like 15 additional cards. I feel like the best way to improve the product is to make it similar to Jumpstart 2020, the first Jumpstart, because Jumpstart 2020 was essentially a Standard Jumpstart set for M21, but they added a plethora of new and old cards to the set with their own set symbol, giving the packs a chase feel to them in hoping you get the theme you want as well as seeing more than what the standard set offered. WOTC seems to be making baby steps on improving the product over time, but it is making the older product age worse over time as well. I think they should include Legacy cards in the Standard Jumpstart offering while also having those cards have a unique set symbol so that they can be differentiated from the standard set, that way new players have a chance to pull something crazy while giving old players the chance to pull some of their old favorite cards as well.
I Like your Videos. But THE only Thing that i didnt understand are the value because here in Germany the value of the cards are very Higher. What website are you using?
@tcgloveopenings thank you I was excited about it my other rares in the pre release pack were all different colors and hard to cast penny rares so I didn't do super good in the tournament but I was happy to get the foil stamped wren
You get 2 much bulk with jumpstarts I would rather by singles instead! With set booster you at least have more chance to pull something and more fun opening even if you didn’t pull anything this time really bad bundles really bad luck
ye man the jumpstarts from the standard set are bad if you can get them below 60 euro it might be, and for the value for the set its always in limbo the first few weeks some cards might suddenly spike if they see play
@@tcgloveopenings i come from Germany too so it isnt that expensive i think. You would Help me out very much. I was in Hospital forb4 month and have to pay a lot of money...
this set is pretty neat but i just dont see there any real value. really wishing you the best of luck on making your money back. these are rough to watch
I personally dont like the jumpstart sets but thats cus im a collector more so than a player haha and all these cards are pretty much reprints and only for standard play i guess thats why the card prices are so low
