Because he's on the plane that benefits him... Which means any other plane is also not good so why waste the effort in changing instead of doing constructive with his turn

@@famousstranger8468 they have side decks with planes that benefit their own decks. Any other plane they go to, could be beneficial. By the time the plane is likely to benefit him, the others will have tried to planeswalk away anyway.

Drives me nuts that after 13 minutes and three turns we still haven’t gotten a deck tech for Stephen. Begging ya’ll to bring back the deck techs at the top and stop doing them in the middle of things

As someone who doesn't normally wear headphones, I never realised how annoying the music is. With the amount of complaints it's gotten, why is it even still in the episodes? On another note, the interactions this game were much better than last season (in my opinion), so I'm hoping this keeps up! Great to see the new decks, too.

for the record.. i was curious too about the move John did at roughly 18:30.. responding to a plane change. so i looked it up. when you roll the planar die, rolling plane change, or chaos triggers the effect on the card, and that trigger is stack governed.. in other words. what he did was 100% legal

I love all the planechase y'all played in the past. Just like you had partners and Planeswalkers as commanders ahead of the curve in the past, you brought planechase into commander first as well!

Anyone know the ruling on responding to planchasing? I believe rolling the dice is part of the abilities resolution (like most coin flips).

Correct. You can't make decisions until after the die has been rolled. But once the die is rolled, you can respond to any relevant triggers as a result of the die roll. Rolling the Planar Die is a special action that can't be responded to unless it's the result of something like Fractured Powerstone.

What points system do they use?

4 points for first place, 3 for second, 2 for third, 1 for fourth, -1 for a search that takes longer than 40s and additional -1 for every 30 in that same search, -1 for killing the person in last place in points before anyone else is knocked out unless there's a tie for last place, -1 for never casting your commander, 1 for casting your commander from the command zone 4 times, 1 for directly preventing a player's death other than your own. Think that's it. Didn't look it up.

A rule we play while playing planechase is there's no responding to the planar abilities and you must roll atleast once each turn and last one is if the planes says destroy all creature it does so regardless if they are indestructible or not. Basicly whatever it says you do and it happends.

I like listening to commander games because I know so many of the cards by heart and can follow through by listening but all these new cards being pumped out by the buttload makes it so hard to follow... also commanders see the graveyard even if they go to the commandzone so the Syr conrad shouldve triggered 😅

I love how Jeremy gets a tremendous hit and immediately misplays the back up by targeting the wurm instead of his sliver with the counters. Good to see that his game iq hasn't changed since the beginning
