Books I read in March: 1. “All the Birds, Singing” by Evie Wyld 2. “The Word is Murder” by Anthony Horowitz 3. “The Scapegoat” by Daphne du Maurier 4. “A Little Hatred” by Joe Abercrombie 5. “The Trouble With Peace” by Joe Abercrombie
Interesting picks. The Horowitz book from what you said reminds me of this gimmick Clive Cussler loved to do, where he would always write himself into a scene where Dirk Pitt was pretty much trapped with no escape from a situation, and Clive would rescue him. There's deus ex machina and then there's Clive, lol. Sounds like you had a blast with the first two Age of Madness books, you're going to love how it ends in the third book!
Great reads. I’m starting with Horowitzs’, Magpie Murder, series this month. I have also been meaning to start , the Blade Itself. Thank you for your reviews.
I read Everyone in this room will someday be dead and it literally blew my mind away. Also, I read the 4th book in a mystery series I think you might appreciate! It's called Pentecost & Parker, the first book in the series is Fortune favors the dead by Stephen Spotswood!
March was such a disappointing month for me, especially because I read some books that I was looking forward to. Glad that wasn't the case with you tho ^^
Juan, I just discovered your channel. I really like your point of view and opinion. I was wondering if you have a Goodreads account? I would love to see your picks over time. Keep up the good work!
