Agree with all those who went elsewhere to school, but love this band! I am a Nittany lion myself and I bleed blue and white but I thrill to these videos for many reasons. First, I love that they march to the stadium in formation, playing nearly the entire time (Blue Band take note and please stop those dopey cheers you do). Second, they use the traditional placement of instruments with trombones in the front and woodwinds to the rear. and third, they just keep coming and coming!!
@@orthbird I have nephew that was in Pride of Southland, he graduated in May! Vols are my one/only but they sure stress me out sometimes w/ football, basketball teams 🍊
Grew up in Columbus Ohio, brother was in the OSU band and they are great! Just something about how this band comes down that street and does the salute to the hill that even makes this Buckeye fill with pride. You have such a great band down there, definitely on my bucket list to see this live just once.
Now picture this, I live in western Kentucky and all my kin folks were huge u.k wildcat fans. Now at our family reunions or Christmas party's I show up wearing a Tennessee volunteer big orange football jersey .I was 18 n still consigned to the little kids table lol.
Man, fuck life deadass. I wish my mom fucking allowed me to go to college when I was scouted back in high school. Was scouted to play for UCLA and Penn State back when I was playing high school ball but she was afraid to let me go far from home and no father figure at home so her word was final. Next year I got hurt back and both offers were withdrawn and lost out on my dream to play football. Became a miserable PoS all these years later. Maybe one day I’ll consider putting money aside and go to a game just to be apart of the atmosphere, closest I’ll get to being near a field again.
