My first visit to Neyland last week as a BYU fan. Loved the atmosphere and tradition of UT, especially the band and fight song. Thank you Tennessee fans for being so great!
my first visit to a UT GAME was when were playing the MOCKS i play ROCKY TOP every game weeekends on football game weekends i love THE BAND AND your team has such a good team you beat us last year
Or as good as the baseball team..... I am hoping they will be on the upswing this year, they are basically starting new, and Bailey looks like a decent QB, so does hooker.
@@brianchadwell2 if Heupel does well here like he did at UCF we might be alright. I know he came from a smaller conference but he was the OC at Mizzou a few years ago so he has SEC experience at least
Love this and having direct ties to UT makes it even more special, was born at UT hospital in 1969 and my Mom graduated from the nursing program at the University as a RN and worked as a head nurse at the hospital up until the time i was born there, i take pride in being born a Volunteer
Tennessee football is doing well now! Congratulations from a BAMA football and Lady Vols fan! Obviously I love Rocky Top best when it was played by my uncle on his banjo! That tune typifies the entire Southeast US including BAMA!
As a Chattanooga Mocs fan it was a great experience the band the fight song the fans and them being very welcoming playing our fight song and letting us tailgate with them
I don’t like Tennessee volunteers but when they’re a great football team in Tennessee, it’s one of the great bands in the land we need to get Tennessee back on the football map because when it’s rocking it’s rocking
its always great to be a TN VOL i love listening to our fans and band sing rocky top i have a friend who plays basketball for the lady VOLS her name is TESS DARBY
To be completely honest, that is my son. That was his first year in the UT band. I didn’t know how to share it, so I knew I could upload it to RU-vid and save it. He actually went on to spend 3 years on the Drumline and then was the Drum Major for 2 seasons. I think I enjoyed those years more than he did. Thanks for asking.
thank you for the info. The UT band is one of the more famous bands in America and they (bands) need more deserving attention in the media. They work extremely hard and long. Has he graduated and now successful in the music industry? Tell him he did very well in the video and you should be proud of his accomplishments. Do you or does he have instragram? Woudl be glad to be friends with both of you. p.s. I work in sports as official scorer/statistican for NBA, NCAA, MLB and NFL. @@southerncooklvr
Sorry, Garrett, but the "VOL Walk" is the Football team walking from the Torchbearer Statue to the Stadium. It precedes the Pride of The Southland Marching Band's March to the Stadium and Salute to the Hill. Hope you enjoyed them. Go VOLS! Go PRIDE!
Posted the very day Alabama lost to Texas A&M and Saban was first beaten by a former assistant coach. That must have stung for you to reach back and dump on the UT band, huh. ;-). Go VOLS! GO PRIDE!
@@TonyCAV8R 6 NATTYS in 13 years, 24 losses in 15 years. Tennessee has 87 losses in that same span. That must sting that your team has been irrelevant since the 80s. Vanderbilt has been more relevant over the past 15 years, 😆 🤣 😂 Another 40 point beat down is coming soon
@@davidhendrix2418 This is the wrong place to be crying in your beer about your football program, friend. I'm sure you can find someone who cares somewhere else. Maybe you could find some love in a Million Dollar (Overpriced) Band video thread. Go Big Orange! Go Pride of the Southland!
