Artsy and melodramatic, this combination works really well for this band.

First song reminds me of Atrocity Exhibition from Joy Division's album Closer..

The riff for the second track sounds QUITE a bit like The Beta Band - Dry the Rain

Its growing on me. I'm not hearing much of these James Brown and Sam Cooke influences that supposedly went into it, except for maybe the bass line on track 2. Still a lot of Nick Cave and Joy Division, but I like it.
