Shat myself, killed a swan, unrelated to this whole thing. And I dig reckless sherbet ice cream from Baskin Robin's. Do you got a problem with that.....
Hi! If you’re still active on here, would you by any chance be able to share the files? I can’t find a download *anywhere* online, and I would love to listen to it on the go-really helps with writing! All the best ^^
i have lost the actual files years ago, however you can find them on soulseek this very moment, it is a peer to peer media sharing service that is a great source for finding deep cuts, but remember to share as well :)
20 Funk Greats not a bad place to start but all you need are 2 songs: "Hamburger Lady" and "Blood on the Floor" was CRUSHING. Same vein= 1 song: Leather Nun and "Slow Death" Incredible.
So many Clevelanders were in No Wave bands: Robin Crutchfield, Tim Wright (of Pere Ubu), Ikue Mori for a short time, Adele Bertei, and the master, Bob Quine of the Void-Oids 😢
Harry Pussy: Start with What Was Music: -- 04 - Nazi USA - finally Showroom Dummies. You will be amazed. One guitar and crazy wife drummer out of Miami....gone too soon.
"Not Moving" and Egomaniac's Kiss" were the Mt. Everest for this band. Want to hear something very similar but quite different? Check out Harry Pussy - the guitarist sounds like Tom Verlaine hosting Talking Heads and Kraftwerk in Wonderland n crack (a compliment... really). Last, I know No Trend are trendy but I saw them in 1985 during a blizzard in Cleveland; 4 words:: Frank Price was God.
DNA - DNA On DNA full album 1247pm 28.823 anyone any idea of how to stop one's arm and elbow from tensing up... i have lessened the burden re: carrying a large rucksack of groceries about with me... but still... about as relevant a comment as the music is to the ear.
Violence is disgusting and doesnt belong in PUNK! This is free Jazz PUNK! PUNK in general can be about anything. Lyrics don't even matter. Music matters.
puedo escuchar este álbum en repeat y en cada vuelta se pone mejor. does that answer this question? 'are you a bad enough dude to finish the entire album?'.
This album has a sweetness/sincerity that's somewhat lacking in the genre. A lot of similar bands the lyrics are coming from either a cynical or ironically detached angle. The difference is refreshing.
Discovered this album 3 years ago, while looking for a sample used in another record. Never found the sample in question, but i found this. And looking around and reading these comments makes me feel like i stumbled upon a relic. It's surprising this only has 25K views lol I didn't listen to it much the first time, but i gave it another chance at the start of last year and now it's marked in my memory, as lovely as a fever dream
I'm wondering the same thing. Last time I heard anything about him was a few years ago when he did an interview with The Playground - article title "In conversation with Memory Tapes." He said he felt his career/Memory Tapes was over. I miss his music a lot and every now and again I search to see if anything new has come out...
@@HailSocialite I was gonna tell you to listen to Hail Social, but I think you are aware of that lol. I think certain artists, like in the case of the memory tapes project or Neon Indian, look at their work and feel that they did what they could've already. Anything more would be a lackluster effort in kicking the tires.
