That was the cleanest display of ability I've seen in a long, long time. My hat is off to you sir....If I were not on the other side of the planet I would be blowing you up for lessons...sincerly, 30 year drummer....
That is exactly how I use to play the marching snare drum in high school and I am 56 years old. Absolutely excellent control of both hands. He would be an awesome teacher!!! Great job Mr. Isiah Rowser!!!
Damn i remember I used to watch this video when I first started drumming cuz I thought it was amazing. I watch it again and I still think it's amazing how good this guys is 👌
Your technique is impressive. I'm the snare captain for my college marching band, and out of all the professional drummers I've seen perform, you probably have the best sound quality. AWESOME!!!
I remember watching this long ago and I thought it was just really hard. Over a year later I watch it again and I can understand/appreciate this solo much better.
Fantastic form and grip. I don’t care about all those fancy solos, it’s these basic root skills that I love to here. A lot better than just watching stick tricks. YOUR AMAZING. Wish I could take lessons from you I really want to improve on snare
Beautiful playing. A lot of flare and showmanship, but he can back it up with solid, clean crisp, legitimate execution of his strokes. So much fun to watch also. Fantastic!!!
I'm not much of a fan of stick tricks, but I got to say that was cool as hell, man. Plus you really nail those rudiments, which is an art in itself. Bravo!
Looks like you need to practice your rudiments and stick control a little more, but keep at it, you'll get it eventually. ( Yes, that is complete and total sarcasm )
Actually, there are so many fcktards that do not, I have to point it out so there aren't 15 million people being douchebags. This way, I only get one. : )
Isiah! Fantastic. It is mind blowing how great someone can be / is and still get a few negative reviewers (trying to boost their own ego and/or looking frantically for any fault). Really hope to see more from you. I was only in Marching band for one year, and wish I could have learned tons more like this. Great talent.
Drummers always tend to try to show off instead of actually making music... the result is a (maybe impressive) sequence of almost random beats that noone really understands (exept the drummer himself). Too bad...
vaneppi I've played drums for 9 years, I'm level mid to high. But still, most pieces don't have real value not only in complexity and sound-texture but also in the composition of the single elements. As I said, just showing off.
Or it could be making a lot of money or hell just doing something they love instead of critiquing people they know nothing about. You don't know who is doing what so unless you are doing something better, it would be wise to keep your opinions to yourself?
27 secs in I thght it was a slow motion mix down I Swear to you, I had to play this twice just to look for another good1, this and that was SMaSHtAstiC🌪️👊🏿, that flanged sounding mix down, was bad nuh blowhol serious thanks man
The best thing about this guy is the fact the you can tell by looking at him that he truly loves drumming. You can especially tell by the smile at :43.
holy shit i remember watching this back in 2009 when I was in my middle school marching band and this guy motivated me and I made it to the drumline and now i havent drummed since 2012. times flies fast as FUCK.
And to think these are the very basic drum rudiments that EVERY drummer should know. But very few master them. They require so much discipline. I admire that guy.
