@@johnfranzen3689Good observation! That is why I gravitated to to rock music when I started playing. Although I know it's roots are firmly planted in the blues of days past. It was the fact there weren't really any "rules"! You could go off the "reservation" in your playing! And experiment! That is the essence of originality!! Rock on my brothers!

My Mother was a big fan of Chet Atkins and there was a Christmas medley he did that my Mom would play, guess who was the other guitar player ? lol Thank you for turning me on to him, Tommy Emmanuel is now on my playlist. Not to many are in his league.

I listened to this song now for around 45 years, and this is absolutely the most captivating remake of Zeppelin's Kashmir I've ever heard. Elements of rock, classical, and flamenco are seamlessly merged into a breathtaking crossover sound that I can find no adequate words to define. I am so glad that people of your young age are interested enough and talented enough to take some of the great music from my era, and recalibrate it for another a audience and thus keep it alive for another generation to discover. Thank you. You are an inspiration, a phenomenon, and a very skillful musical genius. DON'T EVER LET LIFE GET IN THE WAY OF LIVING.

What microphone is making the guifar sound like all that bass? (trick question its in the post processing) I'm not doubting his skills but there's more than just guitar in this track. Could be a pedal or other effect but it's probably being Parallel processed.

It's not only his hammering style and amazing guitar ability, he uses his "thumping" with his picking hand playing percussion. Sort of like patting your head and rubbing your stomach at the same time. This makes him even more unique that Stanley Jordan, though he plays 2 guitars at the same time. But Marcin is one of a kind. What a future he has.

But dude this guy is not only playing the guitar as a string instrument but he's playing it as a percussion instrument as well. Very impressive players like he and Mr Alexandr Misko are taking guitar playing to a whole another stratosphere. I have been playing since I was 13 and I'm 57 and I have just discovered recently after hearing these guys play this way that even though I'm very accomplished on my instrument I have a lot left to learn it's exciting and scary all at the same time. Look up Candy Rat, it is a recording company they have a videos on youtube, you will find a few 100 others who also play finger style and are in the same league.
