We went here twice i think the first time was 1970 our cleaners were called Maria and Marina and they remembered our family including 4 siblings on both visits.Such great memories and our first experience of going abroad on a plane x

I think it looked spot on. We don’t tend to go half board as we like to explore local cafes and restaurants wherever we are but I’d happily stay in that hotel! Great video, Paul 😊

Excellent price I would stay there would enjoy being somewhere different than a big hotel but something is missing can't put my finger on it .I would pay for tea & coffee facilities because I'm an early riser .many thanks for the video and to see a different side to Benidorm. 😊

Hello Paul 😊 I admire you booking on the day you arrived dead brave, I'd of got the collywobbles!! Brilliant hotel and very nice room loved the atmospheric lighting. Food as you say limited but plenty to fill you up and the price is extremely good for such a well run hotel. I really enjoyed your filming of the gorgeous surroundings ( forgot to say how much I loved your shots of the historical buildings in Liverpool) Have a great day and thank you ❤️x

Looks like a great little hotel. As you say basic but ideal if you want it for a base to go exploring. Love the look of the roof terrace with the little pool. Is there a lift in the hotel or only stairs?? I'm asking as I'm a disabled person with limited walking abilities Thank you for your honest review.

Yes, I liked the look of this hotel and the area. I like bidets! I've got one at home!! A great, positive review.

Another one we walked past two weeks ago. It’s a pity it doesn’t have a walk-in shower, as I struggle with a bath. I was also surprised by the rooftop pool. I was wondering if it’s heated during the winter. I think I would have chosen the courtyard view, as that noise would have driven me mad.

Good , simple ,no bull review , including the facts i needed , i think for the money it was just fine, in the west we have become diva,s wanting so much ,then saying how expensive, fact is a perfectly functional clean place to rest up ,then go explore the area, thats all i need simplicity

A jewel of a find

I always stay on the Poniente side - quieter and still central at Apartmentos Atlantic, really lovely sea views with cafe Refuel close by. If you haven't eaten at Refuel you might want to try it - lovely staff. 😊

Hi Paul, We stayed at the Marconi last year, for two nights? The room was clean and spacious as we had a corner room, but when I checked for a fridge, I was told you don’t get a fridge with a basic room 😂😂I was fuming as we’ve never been any where where there’s no mini fridge!! Never mind I went for breakfast and the place was filthy!! I mean every plate I picked up had food on it, I complained and was told they have new staff!! The cutlery was even worse!! When I went to get some food I went for bacon and it was burnt!! I moved the bacon to get some that wasn’t from the back when I was shouted at by the cook, he was Moroccan and was so rude and loud that a Spanish man shouted at him and told him that he should not shout at the guests!! He even said to me that the place was very dirty in the restaurant, I made a complaint to the owner as it is family owned to be told that their kitchen staff are new? I said that is no excuse to have dirty plates and burn food, and a cook shouting at a guest, they gave me my money back for the food and said they were having the restaurant refurbished!! The hotel itself is very clean and the front rooms are brilliant, which they said I could have when I rebook, the sun terrace upstairs is beautiful and the views are amazing!! It is how ever not for the less mobile or for families with younger children, apart from no fridge in a basic room and the dirty plates and cutlery it is a really nice cheap hotel .😂

Handy for the bars in Old Town. Stayed 20+ years ago. Not much seems to have changed. It was like a Spanish Fawlty Towers. Staff and customers mainly Spanish. Difficult to get a room when a festival is on or beginning/end of season.

Looks sound for the price. I’ve often seen that hotel pop up when searching for hotel options for quick breaks or short notice. Might give it a try as we dont mind staying poniente end 👍🏻

Paul it's a nice hotel, a lot of the Spanish pensioners use it for there free fortnight. More reviews please on that side of benidorm.

What do you want for the money lovely and clean right on the beach what I would suggest can you not just go a bit deeper with the cleanliness of the place ie mattress a uv light to show if it really is that clean 😊
