What an absolute treat it was to go and meet Marcus Fischer and capture a performance in his studio and a walkthrough through his current live rig. This was arranged the day before it happened as neither of us knew other was in Portland at the time so I took the bits of camera rig I had and grabbed some shots of the studio as well as the performance and set up run down. There's lots of lovely gear around, birds chirping through the open studio door, that lovely warm noise of tape, guitar, feedback, custom built loopers and the hard to miss dual Nagra tape loop running around a hook on the ceiling and reel you can see spinning in the middle of the shot. Lovely stuff!
