Marcus is A Weak Hero!  

I respect you warrior I never said this before to any content creator as I'm rough minded person I suffer using MARCUS in ranked, I'm a MARCUS main but still sometimes I think why he is like this ? Such a monsterous weapon with this damage,unbrakability? However the SHADOW WARRIOR needs shadow razor weapon to use tha talent properly Also the rift talent is completely useless because that's impossible to make a full shadow move combo in LEADERBOARD LEVEL FIGHTS I'm using MARCUS for more than 1and a 1/2 year and l see MARCUS is not for everyone Only few can use general properly as that's seriously tough to utilize all of his powers properly against pro players who will be using much faster or high damage hero in team I never use basic attack in front of a pro player because if it doesn't get connected then the opponent will easily roll and punish me with grab Also the harpoon shadow ability is dogeable and predictable and the heavy summersault ability is easily punishable by rolling forward with a good timing or dash and bypass The heavy attack is seriously punishable I wonder why people think that's power of MARCUS Just block the heavy and punish with heavy kick or dash and grab All the disadvantages you told about MARCUS that's 100% accurate Only MARCUS PLAYERS know how challenging is to play with MARCUS Once around 2.5 years ago he was probably the strongest hero in the arena,only old players like me would know this ,strong defence,strong physical attacks,superstrong shadow attacks and more powerful version of glitch form And now after countless nerf to him he ended up like this Marcus is also known as the LIVING LEGEND but for nekki this man (MARCUS) and his title (THE LIVING LEGEND)is a joke

Marcus should not have been a shadow energy user at the very beginning. By considering the lore, Marcus should be the next anti-shadow energy user as that energy had taken away his parents’ lives

Markus needs a complete rework ✅

He should have the highest damage. What would be cool is a Marcus who's tanky, very damaging but doesn't have shadow energy (or something to replace it)

I agree with you that Marcus is a weak hero, but I think many parts of the video were quite misleading 1. Comparing his speed to non legion heroes. Of course non legion heroes will be faster because they don't have the benefit of unbreakability. 2. Comparing his heavy attack damage to some heroes while they were buffed by their talents, such as Kate with At The Ready, Ironclad with both Berserk and Crit active, Fireguard against a burning opponent. This is misleading because Kate, Ironclad, and Fireguard won't always have those buffs, while Marcus's heavy attack damage stays constant. 3. The comparisons of shadow energy gain with other heroes. Comparing him to Kibo was actually funny. Kibo loses shadow energy when missing, so of course her successful attacks will give her more shadow, that's the whole point of Kibo. Shang gains more shadow energy because his physical attacks are very weak, so that makes sense. Fireguard can only use one of his shadow moves at a time, while Marcus can use up to 3, so it's not surprising that his shadow gain will be faster, since his shadow form is not as effective. Same goes for Helga. Her ability is a simple dash that can be dodged easily in most circumstances, so of course she will gain more energy for a weaker ability. Like I said I agree he is weak and needs a buff, but I don't think the way you tested Marcus is a fair portrayal of his strength.

The fact about Marcus being such a weak hero has been known a lot by players and also, it was revealed that Nekki are focusing their attention on balancing Marcus along with Shang (in SFA QnA) Also, the voice on the video is from AI right? I pretty like it

i understand u point of view,but isnt marcus supposed to be played while keeping a distance?His damage is weak,yes,but his kicks are good if you're close,and lower attack+heavy to put some distance between you two

How to punish his heavy, especially when he has the glitch skill? I find matches where it's hard for me to get in on time to attack, some characters I can counter with a heavy or lucky to dash in to get a throw if he doesn't kick.

For the whole video, I was specifically horrified. In reality, almost all legionnaires have the invincibility of a special attack, and Marcus, an EPIC HERO, does not have invincibility. Where are the developers looking?.. It's really very terrible. I was even shocked when there was a comparison of damage with other heroes. How crazy is it to turn a blind eye to a weak EPIC hero? I respect your opinion but in the iron clad vs marcus heavy attack iron clad having a cratical attack and glwoing red but marcus wasen't ivan having his epic weapon (magmarion) i comepert correctly in the game they do the same damage

Menurutku talent "Absolute Control" itu juga useless, kalo kita pake "Shadow Lord" itu ga bakalan berguna karena shadow abilitynya Marcus juga nembus Block apalagi kalo pake shadow ability "Pilum" musuh ke stunt dan free buat di hit, dan buat "Legion Hero" musuh juga pasti ga akan pake shadow kalau udah liat talentnya atau bakalan cari momen aman dulu, bener-bener useless talent itu, soalnya meskipun pake "Lasting Invincibility" itu waltunya dikit banget buat ngelancarin serangan, apalagi "All Consuming Chaos" itu bener-bener bikin move nya Marcus jadi lebih efektif yang akhirnya bikin "Absolute Control" jadi lemah banget, kayaknya seharusnya "Shadow Warrior" di buff dan "Absolute Control" diganti

I didn't used much before I got his fifth talent of glitch ability & his epic weapon(other than magmarian) Marcus is just awesome with those and i never thought I can beat the bosses with Marcus 😂

I fully agree with you Arifo bro.I want to take to him in my permanent team! but he is very slower and weaker compared to other heroes and other heroes gets advantage to hit him in many situations.The only ability that makes Marcus better with only glitch talent only. Marcus is from Legion. Legion fighting style is heavy, unbreakable attacks, it happens. But there are moves enhancing the speed as like glitch and other shadow abilities. Comparing Marcus with heraldian is a utter no sense comparison !!!

He still my favourite and my main hero though 😁 and i agreed with Marcus damage output. But what if Marcus have talent that can block break if he keep hitting his opponent? likes if the reach maximum stack his next attack can block break (didn't work if he use heavy attack) becuz heavy attack in others game can break opponent block if they take it too many times

All consuming chaos enters the chat. And yes he can be the best anti shadow hero among all. Just use legion hero and healing invincibility. None of your opponent will use shadow move.

Marcus is weak yeah i agree about it but most of the problem in the video can be cancelled by choosing all consuming Chaos He is now fast as kibo also with shadow warrior and all consuming chaos you can fill shadow bar in no time Instead of unbreakablity he can evade physical form and escape opponent attack if timed right Speaking about his damage yes its weak but by using lava sword you can delete 1k ho with single heavy Also his shadow damage is fucking insane he will delete 1/3 of your HP in single combo Lastly if you can keep range and hit opponents in glitch opponents cant throw or punish Now the part i actually consider weak is he is nothing without glitch he relies entirely on it His other talent like rift, legion hero and absolute control is useless AF it does no good for him

He is very slow but he is very hard to defeat so he is very strong if he lands a hit he will do so much damage when you upgrade him

I dont have his 5th talent so i rarely or just dont play marcus,,without the glitch its unbearable to play him
