Shadow Fight 2 is a forgotten masterpiece 

Genuinely this game is so good. I made it to the final boss but have never beat him. May and some of the fighters are unfairly hot

Fun fact: the switch version had a very interesting bug at first: basically, every perecentage was treated as 100%, and there was an ability that stated "if you land the first strike within 5 seconds (i think) there is a n% chance you will deal damage equal to X% of the opponent's health". Basically, if you were fast you could one-shot everybody, bosses included. It backfired agains wasp because she could reflect damage, killing you in the process (the same concept applied to her ability)

"why are kicks doing ainy damage in the first place?" im a kick boxer and i can tell you its like having 2 baseballbats atached to you.

So basically, shadow was the strongest fighter in his verse and no one could beat him, so he went looking for someone who match his strength in battle, when he comes across the gates of shadows. When he opens the gates, it releases 7 demons, who rip shadows body and soul apart thus turning him, into a shadow. Now he ventures the land killing the demons he released and collecting seals he needs to use to close the gates of shadows and return to normal. You missed an entire cutscene which plays everytime you open the game (atleast it does on mobile) which tells you this story. Shadow fight 2 is prolly one of my fav mobile games of all time and it gets cooler and better the farther you get with new mechanisms. I still go back to play sometimes even after all these years. Very happy to see you enjoying it.

8:20 hold it guys these guys he is fighting against are literal demons if demons can freely walk around that land shadows can too!

You unlock ranged weapons after you defeat lynx. Also, try to save some coins before you get to xp level 5. When you reach it , a challenger fighter will appear and if you defeat him you get to keep his weapon, so it's important to have some coins saved up for getting the new armour and maybe helmet before the fight to make it easier. Very cool video !

This should be a let's-play series. Surprisingly no one has done that with this game like they would with fnaf, undertale, hard time, GOW etc.

Definitely one of the best mobile games if not the best imo , great mechanics , decent storyline and an amazing soundtrack . You should Speedrun it 100%

For any weapon with a quick back swing that hits the head, and a down slash on the forward + punch one time instead of twice, you can get super long strings of head hits by using those two moves and spacing well

Allow me to show respect for you picking this game. Shadow fight to me has always been a great mobile game i always thought it was EXTREMELY underappreciated. Shadow fight has STUNNING visuals great music and so much to enjoy while playing it. Its not perfect of course. But i will alwasy appreciate shadow fight for basically keeping me entertained for so many years and i only just recently beat it last year and it really makes me appreciate all the content shadow fight has to offer. From raids (the post game content) to special event raids of course the game again, isnt perfect since there isnt much to do besides raids and replaying old bosses but i deeply thank you speezy. For picking this great game to play a game that is heavily empty in the RU-vid department for good videos about it. Much less youtubers. It doesnt really matter to me if no one sees this. I just had to air out my love and appreciation for shadow fight 2 here. I thank you if you have read this far. Also i forgot to mention the story lol its also pretty good as well combined with shadow fight shades which continues it.

I can tell you the sword is probably one of, if not, the best weapon in the game. I remember hitting crazy combos with it.

Love your commentary. There are not many people who voice over/ caption SF2. Btw, to do the throw thing, you need to be close to the person, either point your joystick left or right (depending on what side you are on) and press punch twice.

You need to know a couple of combos to even fight effectively, and they're relatively easy. For Sword, get far enough so you can still hit the enemy with > + P, and when the gap is closed, you do < + K, then wait till you can do it again. The opponent shouldn't block during the combo. Don't spam > + PP

The Music, The Background Artwork, The story It's all a masterpiece

I have been playing this game for YEARS now and still playing. After defeating Titan I replayed the game with a challenge in mind. Going full eclipse for all fights! Man the grind is tough but I made it into the final act. I still need more chips though. And fighting in imposible mode has been the norm Edit: Please check the moves set that you can find in the profile logo. It will really help you out if you know ALL types of move set for EACH weapon. Cause watching you skip that is a bit... Anyway good luck with the speed run! At least finish it this year man!

Give me more!!! This is one of my most treasured childhood games, I have NO CLUE how I got it or found out about it, it's basically been in my life for almost as early as I can remember... Shadow Fight 2 is SUCH A GOOD GAME! It's one of the highest quality mobile games I've ever seen in my life! I badly want a PC version to play!

I played it on mobile a few years back. Further as story progresses, it became insane farming just to get gear strong enough to lower difficulty of one fight from impossible to insane, so you can actually stand a chance to beat it. On top of that there was an energy mechanism so you could get like five fights before waiting for energy to recharge. It sucked since combat becomes repetetive after a while and at that time only thing I was interested in was story.

This game was genuinely one of my childhood favourite games! So many good memories playing this on the school bus XD

You have no idea how happy it makes me to see this game get mainstream attention,this is one of my favourite games of all time, and probably my favourite mobile only game (so not stuff like minecraft or bloons)

This game takes so long to beat. I have not forgotten it. I played it when it came out and 4 years ago I came back to it. I have been playing it for these past 4 years. At some points in the story the game just goes "all this currency you saved up? We now make it wortless just because. Go make some new money if you wanna progress. Also you start the game over. Beat everyone you already beat again. And again". To beat the game you have to do each area like 3 times

I've done it already before when I was smaller, but as I recently beat the very final boss of the game, Titan, I absolutely could NOT understand how a younger me could've beaten that hot-blade-up-your-ass difficulty boss. Titan is just so unnecessarily absolutely ridiculously difficult but now that I've beaten him again my life is complete. Other than the difficulty later on, this game is absolute peak and despite attempts to milk the game's brand there will never be another game that will give you the awesome experience that was shadow fight 2 and I'm so glad it was one of the pillars of my childhood

tips: after you land a critical and knock your enemies down, you can still punish them for 1 extra hit when they are on the ground some weapons can chain with theirs 3 hit attacks, some crit with big damage and repeating the cycle

You should definitely speedrun this, also try studying every weapon including combos whenever you buy them.

This game is like a good gateway to fighting games. Never made it past Widow 'cause my older phones never got the capabilities to, but I loved it.

Long-time Shadow Fight 2 player here, a katana user. I love how this game doesn’t dictate your combos to you, but just lets you try the weapons for yourself and think up your own combos from the moves you like. In case you decide to play this more, I’ll note one thing (I’m at 6:41 now so IDK if you notice this later): some attacks have 1 and 2-tap options- the double sweep and your forward attack are two examples. If you hold D-Pad toward opponent and tap 👊 once, you get a basic move, while tapping it twice does the weapon’s “ultimate” move.

I've beaten this game like three times. It's so good, the story is awesome, the gameplay is incredible, the weapon variety, combos, animations, special effects, enchantments, etc. is all just 10/10. I also love how simple it looks, it's got such a unique charm of being just two silhouettes fighting and you play AS the shadow instead of weird anime fantasy-steampunk shadow-energy stuff.

Damn, I LOVED plaything this game back in the day. I remember some of the bosses getting wildly unfair though. Then it gets even more nutty once you unlock magic, and some of the weapons start getting ridiculous movesets, this game was so good.
