Als Gäste wirkten u.a. Ambrose Akinmusire, Robert Glasper, Chuck D., Keb’ Mo’, Lalah Hathaway, der senegalesische Sänger Alune Wade, der brasilianische Singer-Songwriter Djavan und der malische Koraspieler Cherif Soumano mit. Die Aufnahmen dafür machte er mit seiner Band und lokalen Musikern in Marokko, Brasilien, Frankreich und diversen Orten der USA.

I recently started listening to Marcus Miller(pardon me for being so late)- must say one thing- he has quickly climbed to the ranks in my list of favorite bassists... funky as hell, yet refreshing, soothing and inspiring......

Bought it today! This is very special, because I buy just as many cd's as I buy washing machines nowadays. It is wonderful again. 'B's River' my favorite. Papa was a rolling stone too.

His tone is great. I like his funky style. I've to say Victor is very crafty at various technical things like tapping chords and harmonics. But I just like Marcus tone a lot plus slapping is my favorite thing to do.
