this was great, finally got to watch it as I was not home that night. Loved the history of events and krewes Have never been down for Carnival but had cousins who lived in Metairie for years and one of my favorite cities to visit. Have been down there a few times recently as a friend was transferred there and could see the City once again, We did visit Madri Gras World which was great to see and I noticed you did a clip of Blaine Kern. I have no relatives in NOLA now, all deceased, but a couple of cousins in Baton Rouge that I hope to connect up with Thanks for having this celebration and really enjoyed it Knew about some things but not the history behind them, very information. I live up the River in St. Louis, MO. another city founded by the French.
