What hundred block were you all standing? We use to stand on the neutral ground side in the 1700 block of St. Charles and Polymnia . They have nothing but families whom stand there. You have to get out there about 12:00am a little bit after midnight. to get a good spot for Mardi Gras morning. They have all kinds of restaurants around there. Love your video. Stay safe. Happy Mardi Gras.
We were in the 3300 block of St Charles. Yes a lot of families do gather very early and it’s hard to get a spot. Thank you for watching and commenting. Happy Mardi Gras 💜💛💚
Dang, that was an awesome video. I live in the Florida Panhandle & one year I'll get over there. All I want is the doubloons lol, some friends went last year & brought me some doubloons back & I'm in love with them!!!
Thank you! My father had years of doubloons but was thrown away 😢 all those years gone. I have not yet gotten me one yet for this year. Thank you for watching and commenting! 💜💛💚More vids coming!
So each Krewe either owns them or rents the floats. If you own them it will cost you a lot to get fixed. Most floats are reusable and put back into another parade. I can’t speak for any of the organizations but I believe that’s probably why.
@@Unsweetened8618 no MG float is low quality. All of them are beautiful. Some floats have led lighting and some have regular bulbs and some don’t have any lights on them. Yes it is expensive to work on them and keep them up.
@@whodatpat504 I know you wanna be politically correct. And I shouldn't wrote that on your channel... But my eyes says, the quality difference is obvious.
