I LOVE MARDUK‼️ I LOVE THIS ALBUM‼️ I'm 46 years old and MARDUK is everything I need since I'm 14... (okay...my Daughter is 10 and I love her too ‼️) 🙂
Plague Angel was my introduction to Marduk and Daniel Rostén - I used to watch Throne of Rats performance at Wacken '05 almost religiously. This album proves that Mortuus has brought a vision to Marduk and he's not just a "singer" like the previous individual was. The sound got better thanks to Devo. No more plastic Abyss Studio sound. I can inhale the smell of bones and dust of catacombs while listening and reading the lyrics of this and the successor album. IMHO those two are like double album and should be listened back to back. Excellence from start to finish, be it the cover art and the layout with the touch of Timo Ketola (RIC), of course the music and the lyrics. I'm hoping 'Memento Mori' will be as good as Plague Angel and Rom 5:12. I think the later albums still can't top off PA and Rom. A.M.S.G.
This is plain down Marduk's best album. I would give both of Joe Biden's nuts to watch Marduk along with Nile, 1349, Ezkaton, Darkthrone and a few more at a black flag festival here in South Africa
