Maureen Lipman is great, I always love watching her. She he is a great comedian and a great entertainer.

What a brilliant clip

Maureen Lipman is one of the most under-appreciated of British actors, and screamingly funny when playing comedy. I remember seeing her in a one woman show on the West End. Her stand-up comedy in the first half was better than any female stand-up I've ever seen, and her acting in the second-half sketches was on a level only comparable to Maggie Smith or Vanessa Redgrave.
