I hope I get to travel on both the Paradise and Islander. They both seem to be very well-designed. The Paradise is also retro at this point, being as old as it is.

They did a great job renovating this ship! Everything looks so fresh, tropical and modern. Also, I can see the similarities between this ship and the Carnival Miracle. The two-story nightclub, the theater sofa seating, and the lounge down on deck 1 had the same structure as older Carnival ships. I love the two-story club design to spread out the crowd.
As a guest who disembarked earlier this morning, this cruise was nice. However, the staff was untrained and had only been on board for a week before, many parts of the ship broke in just four days including multiple windows and balconies, and it was very unorganized. I understand it was the inaugural cruise and there were going to be links but some of it was just ridiculous to the point of not even being served despite being an ultimate license to chill guest which is the top package. It’s a lovely ship and destination but they need to get their stuff together quick if they’re going to let their other ship, the paradise, go to crap while they work on this islander.
I loved this video. Your ship tour was very detailed. I am surprised at how nice the ship looks. It seems as if Margaritaville at Sea was listening to all of the previous complaints. Thanks for sharing....I look forward to sailing on the Islander. 🙂
Another good design for the smokestack would be a classic Margarita. Making the smokestack in the shape of a Margarita glass.I'm painting it in such a way that it looks like a full glass of margarita. The bowl of the glass could have extra filters added to. Limit the amount of visible smoke. And would become their new logo trademark.
They did a VERY nice job with this ship coming from the last few rust buckets they've operated with... Only God knows where they keep getting this money from to keep the company afloat, but they seem to just keep finding more! Hopefully this ship will take them to the next level. They have a good concept, but I never really felt like everything was 100%.
What a great tour of this beautiful ship!! I think I’m going to need to sail this ship, it’s absolutely beautiful! Also, first time watching y’all’s channel and subscribed! I’ve been following on Instagram but just now got over to RU-vid for your videos! Time to binge!
Great vlog. If I was still cruising, this ship would be on my list. It's very attractive, looks comfortable. I think they did a great redesign, and it gives off an island vibe. The tiki barstools remind me of the salt & pepper skakers from the Kon Tiki restaurants that were popular when I grew up. I hope you had a good time.
Awesome walk thru! I love the 'Spirit' class ships! I am so glad MAS got this ship, and did an incredible job refreshing it..Certainly am going to be making plans to be sailing on her in the near future!
You did a great video! I am so excited to sail at the end of August. I am curious about drink prices . Still debating the drink package or the Ultimate Chill package
Only blogger with the tour!! I’ve been waiting for this definitely booked for this weekend thank you!! One question for the kids camp it’s only 15 allowed???
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I couldn't help but notice there weren't many people. Was this cruise for select passengers, considering the first sail is set for tomorrow?
Thanks. This cruise was for select media, cruise influencers and family and friends of Margaritaville at Sea employees. There were 1,100 people onboard. So about 1/2 the regular capacity.
I checked out the pricing for this and they are a little too steep for what they are offering. I could get an MSC cruise with all drinks and Wifi included for half the price.
I think the transformation turned out beautifully! A few quirky choices that I don’t get in terms of layout, like placement of the gym where Spirit-class ships typically situate the arcade near the kids club. Looks like they made the spa very small and the entire space converted to staterooms. Kind of a miss (one of only a few I can see) and will be interesting to see how a small spa will play out in the long run, as that is a huge revenue driver for other lines.
Wow! This ship looks amazing. After reading all the awful reviews for their first ship, I’m definitely going on this one! Has anyone been on it and have any feedback?
Wow, that was an amazing video. I have liked and subscribed to all. I’ve been cruising since the mid 80s, yeah I’m kinda old. I don’t look or act like tho. I have a wicked Peter Pan complex. The first ship the Paradise looks like trash. People have been on it and it is trash. It looks like they’re seriously uping their game when it comes to their brand, with this portion of the Margaritaville franchise. I’m a little spoiled, I typically sail either Norwegian or Disney, I essentially been everywhere on those brands. But you’ve actually convinced me to take a cruise on the islander. Looks like you guys had a great time, ship is beautiful, as long as they maintain it. That’s the problem with the paradise, it seems likeonce they sail, they don’t maintain everything and it all goes to crap. So that’s a massive change that needs to change within this brand of Margaritaville. But thank you for that beautiful video. I liked. I am subscribed and I will absolutely follow you! With big hugs from Central Florida!
Note the 1st ship was from costa cruise line I feel will change customer view point Plus give customer option from carnival and royal Caribbean corp I hope 3 rd ship
We were on this cruise. While the ship was beautiful we will never sail with them again. horrible communication, old school drills that were not ran well, cold gross food. Key cards didn’t work. Lost AC all night one night. Choked on a chicken bone in the tacos. No one seemed to know where or what was going on or could answer questions. And departure off ship was a nightmare. Not worth the money.
I respect your opinion and heard very similar accounts from others. I’m confident they’ll get it together. It can be rough the first few sailings of a “new” ship.
Great job with this tour. This ship does look interesting, but it seems much pricier than i was expecting. I was able to find some good prices near the end of the year for sure, but for only the cabin. Once you add WiFi and a Drink Package you are paying as much as most other lines. Actually, it ends up pricing higher than most MSC sailings, and on much newer ships. I think that they may have made some missteps on this one IMHO.
Thanks. The smoking section is deck 10 Behind the movie screen. Everytime I tried to capture that area people were there smoking so I didn’t want to film it.
Hello! New sub here! Thanks for posting! Im just curious, the lack of chairs by the pools really scares me. 😱 it seems like on the paradise it was like this too.
Hey! Thanks for subscribing (although I thought you were already subscribed lol). Yes there aren’t many chairs by the pool. Boarding the inaugural cruise right now so I will see if there are more.
I’m thinking about taking a two day cruise to the Bahamas from West Palm Beach. I’m wondering if this is the ship we well be on? I’ve seen that Margaritaville had much older looking ships
This ship looks better and more fresh compared to the previous ship that is also owned by margaritaville at sea cruise line. They did a great job renovating the ship.
It was quick. You report to muster as soon as you board. Quick demonstration. The only issue is they aren’t using a tablet to check guests in. So you may have to wait for them to find your cabin on the list. It still took under 5 minutes.
I went to book the ship as a single passenger thinking I could get the same deal that two people get like full ticket price second person goes for 50% off... turns out these morons at this Cruise Line decide that a single person has to pay 25% more than two people! Yes I said that right no discount 200% single supplement! Two people travel on a short cruise for $600 and a single person has to pay $800... not kidding!!!
