I’m sad to hear the reports, and was hoping it wasn’t true, but from everything I can gather Vibes has left us. We were ALL inspired to do what we do by the OG of Myrtle Beach RU-vid, MR. MYRTLE himself. Thanks for the many years of entertainment, and messages. Shame we never got to hang out. 🕯️

Hey Mr. Myrtle I wanted to thank you for the videos you have posted they've kept me hyped up and motivated for my own Myrtle Beach vacation. I haven't been to Myrtle Beach since I was a kid. I know this was totally unrelated to the video but wanted to thank you!
We looked around the Hollywood Beach location and it was very impressive and seemed like a really fun place to stay… if you can afford it. It was out of our price range while vacationing there. It’s exciting that MB will be getting a location. We know “parrot heads” and if you build it, they will come. No matter the price. Good job with your drone footage, a nice and smooth birds eye view is appreciated. Agree, the mountains of Pigeon Forge TN do not give the tropical vibes that go with a Margaritaville. It’s odd.
There are 3 Margaritaville resorts in Pigeon Forge. I have stayed at two. The Island and Camp Margaritaville. I have also stayed at the one in Gatlinburg. They manage to do a good job combining the Mountains with the Beach vibe. Never had a complaint with those or any other Margaritaville resorts we have stayed at. Staff is always awesome, the resorts are spotless. You always know what you are going to get.
We've been to Margaritaville and it was ok. Will never stay at the resort because we lease a house in MB but for those who like it I'm sure it will be a hit. Have missed you, thanks for posting.
Man rip steps to nowhere. So many good memories sitting there people/car watching at night and knowing i was close to the breakers when walking from downtown. Also hopefully they will extend the boardwalk to end there like they did when they built the Hilton. I think at one time they wanted it to go all the way to 21st avenue so maybe.
I thought the Magaritaville Resort in Hollywood Beach, Florida was cool and added to the whole city. I stayed at a cheap place and got a resort daypass to hang out and use their pools since there were too many man o' wars on the beach to relax comfortably. I can say, if there's a Magaritaville, the amenities will be exquisite. I thought this was originally going to be only slightly north of Atlantic Beach, in the far south of North Myrtle...Which has little foot traffic. This would definitely be the more logical and better location.
Hopefully this will happen. They were talking about this for years, since about 2010. It was supposed to be by the old Pavillion site. We lived in Myrtle from 2004 to 2017. Heard it all. So many projects were supposed to come to Myrtle. Sadly, most never happened.
The City Planners have done everything they can to destroy the fun we used to have there. The 60s, 70s, AND ESPECIALLY the 80s. Maybe they'll change the name to Mountain Beach to compete with BEEch mountain NC. Love your videos as always. I hope your fish tank is still doing well.

@@TrevorG-nk7ztso did Tara Gurry of North Myrtle Beach, May 30th! I hadn't seen any uploads, as she was prolific doing 'Tara Tours' which I always checked out even though not looking, just enjoyed seeing what was out there, and her wonderful, beautiful personality. So young, so sad! In fact my last communication with her was asking if she knew anything about this sweet fellow, (she didn't) but such irony😢
