I disagree. The BBC are opposed to the truth, where as Channel 4 often seek out just how ugly the truth can get. *C4 News:* Starvation in Peru, liberation in Manbij, Suicide in Punjabi, Ban the Dam in the Amazon, etc. *BBC:* Dog on a Skateboard. My guess is that this country is an island with beaches all around it, & therefore there's never a shortage of sand where the truth is concerned. You DO raise an important point however, calling C4's neutrality into question. That, I cannot deny.
People are angry about exactly the right things; but then leap straight to "and it's ALL because of the EU, full stop." And that just doesn't make sense.
Yes, but they put these people on tv for a reason. After all, there are a load of articulate 'Leavers' they could put on. They could also report on discontent on the continent about the E.U., but that's just fobbed off as being 'extreme right wing' whatever that's supposed to mean. It's all a means to camouflage the fact that 'Remainers' are unable to make a case as to why it is so awful to be in favour of an independent, sovereign country having its own laws made in its own interests by people who can be hired and fired via the ballot box.
It's interesting, the EU pays our farmers millions in subsidies, EU has standards designed to improve the quality of our beaches, EU ministers have debated and ruled that roaming charges across the EU are unfair and that it should cost the same to phone someones mobile in the UK and other countries, if you want to work in another EU country you don't need a VISA if your country is a member, businesses in the EU trading with other EU countries don't pay any additional tariffs on goods. Problem is not the EU but our government, we need a more egalitarian education system to provide our people with the skills they really need so they can be more mobile as a workforce, we need better working conditions for our people to improve lives and develop a greater sense of well being.
The EU isn't a charity and doesn't give anybody anything. There is nothing that the EU do, that couldn't be done without them. If the EU is actually as decent as I assume you are implying, we shouildn't need to hand over any power to them. We were being delivered into a federal Europe by degrees and by deception. That's just shady.

What about the millions of native Britons who are adversely affected by mass, uncontrolled immigration in terms of NHS treatment, housing, jobs (British bus driver denied a job because Arriva only employ Romainians thank you very much), wages; not to mention traffice pollution and the concreting over of the countryside to cope with the housing needed for the insane population increase year on year.

This does have an obvious Remain slant. I do hope nobody is listening to any one single group and assuming they speak for all of Leave or all of Remain - that's very sloppy. That's low, Remainers, even for you :P Anyway erm, I think they're alright people just commenting on life in this country as they see it, which is also valid. Mass immigration into this country is absolutely bonkers right now (330,000 a year net migration) and everyday people are really feeling it. At the rate we're going, there will be no more Britain as we know it in... maybe even as little as 50 years. Certainly 100. Very sad indeed :( It's not that I have anything against any other peoples of the world (indeed, I'm half Italian/Maltese myself) but we can't help the whole world by bringing them into our relatively small country. We need to help them where they are.
In other news, I miss Margate - I haven't been there for a while. Despite the direction the area has taken and its relatively high crime, it's still a charming area with great history, and I think it will improve again over the next 10-20 years :)

I honestly believe they interview the worst they can find and edit anyone with sense out of the final cut to create this narrative so you lot can feel superior, but we're leaving whether you like it or not, even the Remainers when asked why should we stay or why do you like Europe sound ridiculous stumbling around for answers as to what is so good about Europe.
