I think one of the most powerful things that I could have learned from margiela is simply the ability to take stock of when things go wrong and ask yourself what can I do with this, how can I make this into art. The power of not letting your mistakes paralyze you and Instead using them as a basis for creation. It’s an expression of love all itself. It’s truly fearless.

the series is such a excellent idea. Really like the way you seperate the Runway. Also I'm so into the series because I own a Margiela Mohair Turtleneck and I dont know which season its from. Im gonna be hella happy when it pops up in one of your future Runway History vids.

@98hfcblack no Deanna tags, but the turtleneck is old for sure because of the plain white label which has Been used in margielas earlier days. Thanks for helping tho

@98hfcblack I am from Austria, so thrift stores aren't a thing here, and the few stores are way to expensive. I bought the hoodie from a local platform called "willhaben" for 30$.

@98hfcblack no not even carboot sales. But I have noticed that there's a thrift/charity store movement coming up in Vienna so maybe in the future I'm gonna find some tremendous grails. I’m watching this video as I’m having dinner. I knew the intro was coming, but I always pay attention to it because of the moment when you look intensely at the camera and say f a s h i o n while holding a pair of black sneakers. So funny!
