Margot Robbie Doll Comparison 

I like the sundress on this Barbie. I'm not sure if I will get her but I think I prefer this movie Ken in stripes over the more expensive Ken in denim. Great deal on the dollhouse.

I'm not planning on getting any of the Barbie movie dolls. I think they look ok, but they are expensive and I'm not that keen on dolls with grins. The more I see the Margot Robbie Barbie dolls the more they seem to look like her. I do like the deluxe version that you got more than the latest one, but I think it's down to the hair. The bangs/fringe on the Pink Gingham Barbie looks odd to me, the hair on the deluxe doll is much better. I really like the playset that you got though, particularly the way that you redressed the outdoor part of it, it will definitely look great for photographs.

I remembered going to the Toys R’us the other day to get more Barbie The Movie dolls, and when i got there..all of the Barbies and Kens were sold out 😭 (which either there were so many rich parents that managed to buy those dolls for their children, or adult doll collectors speedrun this..either way) They only have the President, Gloria and Ken (Shang Chi’s version)…clearly not the ones i’m interested in. Luckily though, i managed to snag on the western cowgirl Barbie at least :3

The Margot Robbie doll with the bangs really needs to have a boil wash to look good. Most Barbie's with bangs will benefit from having boiling water poured down her bangs so it will lay flat for a better look. Without the gel, it will look more natural . Once the boiling hot water pushes down the bangs, you can then comb it out and trim as necessary and then let it dry. I also comb out the rest of her hair and trim. (I use a small cuticle scissor for precise trimming). You can use another playline doll to experiment and practice. This is a really easy way to improve Barbie's hair and I find giving my dolls a boil wash improves my enjoyment of the dolls.

Once again, I love the backdrop scene you have given these dolls! I want all of the dolls. I think each one is terrific. I agree that the disco doll is a bit more true to the movie look. Sooo looking forward to the movie!

Since there is a big price difference, especially since I was able to get the basic doll on sale, I got one of her and one deluxe doll (in the pastel outfit with hat). I also got the 3-outfit pack, so I plan to use the basic doll to "play" with and change outfits on, and I may keep the deluxe one in the box.

My wishlist is to get 3 Barbie movie dolls. Two of the pink dress and the other of Barbie in blue plaid with hat so gorgeous is! Two for display , and one the pink dress to unbox it and to play with her and I wanna get her some other clothes too, I wanna touch her 😁❤❤ but the others I will keep them in the box clean to display just to admire them and specially the one in blue hat which is 70 EUR 😢 here in France
