yeah you have to wonder with some of this stuff. I know in the past there have been a few 'high sage-type gurus' out of India who were credited with various psychic abilities. I think this has something to do with the lizard brain theory. That a person will always react in some way to the reference to the thing they want to keep secret. It has to do with our evolutionary instinct. We always react to danger no matter how subtle that reaction is. When he said all those letters, maybe she involuntarily gave subtle body language or facial clues which helped him guess the correct answer.
