Maria Bamford Performs on Conan 

I love Maria, but her style doesn't fit these 4 and a half minute slices very well. Seemed like she was moving quickly to get her spot done in time. When she can go at her own pace, she's fucking brilliant!

Maria Bamford is unique, beyond brilliant and singularly hilarious. She is like no other comic in her vocal characterizations, elastic facial expressions and weaving of surreal situations while representing honest emotions in intelligent women and sensitive people in general. I could go on, but that could get cloying. I heart (and mind) Maria Bamford.

"Hi Marian! It's BJ." Haha the delivery was so good, but no laughs... I think sometimes her punchlines go past people because they can be hard to hear (I mean, among other reasons of course, but this joke was pretty accessible, I thought).

best part is she does not care that most of the audience seems to not get it/not appreciate it. I LOVE HER!

I've never quite been sure whether or not I liked her but this act was hella funny! The Paula Dean suicide note and Gravy Boat jokes were hilarious. And yes! I AM high right now :)
