"Maria" - Filipino March based on the tune of Erika

Maria is a Filipino March about a soldier writing a letter to his girlfriend. The first stanza talks about the Sampaguita flower smell that reminds the soldier abour her. The Second Stanza talks about how the fields of Sampaguita flowers is like the years they spent on each other before the war. Third stanza is about how he feel the presense of his girlfriend on his side. Fourth stanza stated that the years has passed and still the pictures has been sent is still on his pockets and it feels like nothing has changed over the years. Fifth and Sixth Stanza is the desire of the soldier to meet his beloved when the war has ended and if he is still alive.
