Yea shes no joke when getting hit by a deck like that everyone else wants piece of her. She just got lucky during this session as a new comer to the table against the regulars.
Anyone here from try guys that came here before someone explained how to play. So they just say watching people do random things then eventually just skipped to the end seeeing Maria win?? 😂😂😂
Maria Ho is so good and the focus is amazing and it motivates me to wanna play one day not for the money or gambling but for the Adrenaline and action of the game
I’m very impressed with the turnaround on the release of this video. Sometimes it takes weeks to get a hand of the night video. Thanks for the hard work and the great content. 👍

Solid GTO lines/sizing against the strongest players at the table; floating wider/using more aggression against the weaker players. Classic stick & move from Maria Ho.
yo i thought she was getting trolled and this was a low lights video, so i went to the comments. I'm going to keep watching, only watched first 6 mins lmao
A lot of comments about how Good she ran, but she also played as close to Perfect as possible. She is a TOP notch pro and a strategic and silent assassin. I put her right up there with Garret, Andy, Art, etc. Her possible leak and I stress, "possible" is when she's running bad or get's a bad beat or two, she seems to lose her confidence and aggression pretty quick, but that's just from me seeing her play maybe 10 or less times. It was mostly in tournaments and it's prob not even a leak, who knows. Bottom line, she is a beast and will wreck your world if you underestimate her and if you don't, underestimate her and give her, her respect; she'll use that and her image to her advantage also and prob still wreck your world! Lol. Just LOVE her table presence and how she played!!!
I'm so proud of maria. I chat played with her a session online for fun Maybe about 45 minutes. Mostly talking, she is really a kind person and fast learner a true pro . I showed her my style and she gave them my style looks I played her with? Played that jack like knife👍. She Ran them boys out poker house.😅. Keep it up
Watched the whole stream and for some reason everyone was letting get to showdown for free and even the more aggro players were playing very passive towards her. Wonder if she was giving off a quiet, intimidating presence.
Her calling range is much stronger than others calling range. Means she doesn’t have air floating range like others so you have to pot control against her calling range.
Nice to see Maria not fold a set of 10's on a monotone flop. How in the hell does Andy not fire river with J-high and a bit less than 1 pot bet remaining? Note to self - do not pay the nit off on the river :)
When Maria won that hand at 26:00 does it tilt anyone that if you checked that back on a live 1/3 or 2/5, you would never win in 1million years because they always have some random pair haha
i literally said she should bet 10,500. The perfect size, max value from an ace and perfect amount to put them in a difficult spot already knowing a set of nines is the best hand. Then she bet 10,500 and got paid after they seemed pained (a sign more probably would've got a fold). LOL feels good. Maria is a boss!
Ahh she cost herself 50k on the hand at 33 mins too. She has no AK - so a jam would have looked like the biggest bluff and likely gotten called more than an 18k bet. What a laydown by John though. AJ still beats a10, a8/a9 suited but hands like that would likely have jammed to get them off a better king too (which is why I'd get behind a jam there for sure). Great disciplined fold.
I think she is trying to save herself some money in case Cynn is checking a portion of his flushes on the river to trap. She is professional and is probably not jamming for no other reason then that she is only getting called by better if she shoves
@@grantmaruya2703 this is true. But she does fold out a few hands that have her beat by jamming. It's an interesting spot to be sure though. If were not blocking more bluffs, I'd say it's a mandatory jam.
@@grantmaruya2703 Oh wait I thought this was in response to the jam as a bluff hand the one before. In this case, I don't agree. He has so many more aq/ak (16 combos), a8-a1jss (8 combos - more if you have aj/a10o style of hands) kinda hands that'd call than axss specifically (8 or so combos left), and kq, kj, j10, q10ss and the odd suited connector for spades. A jam there is getting called by most a10-aq by someone as good as John I reckon as she's repping 2 pairs which she doesn't really have much of an image of hitting as a tourney player and by jamming here she can also have all those spade bluffs + semi bluffs to warrant a call.

I have seen quite a few videos, she is definitely a good player buts let be real, you wouldn’t bet against her against this line up in the long run, esp with crushers like Andy,Garrett and John Cynn and other regs in the lineup
Do you think that pocket threes was a bad call? I do, I mean, I think that's a lot of info you give away, but maybe that will help you later in the game.
I had a similiar spot with trip jacks. I raised flop when i got a set with 3 hearts. Got reraised and 4 handed to turn. Another heart comes out and raiser goes all in. I knew he had the nuts and folded. The river paired the board. 😭😭😭
