A good rendition of this 310 piano sonata, my prefered one. Brilliant, intricate and a real challenge for any pianist. Enjoyed this Pires performance. She arises the shine of this playful and demanding piece. Should hear the Haebler, to really seek further. A cool piano piece for a Mozart specialist as she is. May buy her Mozart Piano Works Intégrale. Can only regret she did not recorded the whole of Mozart Piano Concerts also. Have gotten what she did with Abbado, anyway. Have to say Eschenbach did a good job too, his rythm is terrific, remarkable in this sonata . Maybe colder than the Pires one? - Anycase, this is another of Pires achievements, not to mention her splendid Schubert. 💎❤️👌
Мария Пирес чётко придерживается классического видения, этим она заслуживает особенного уважения! Приятно слушать такое исполнение. Привет из Германии всем слушателям! Спасибо!
Strange taste for Mozart IMHO! Horowitz only plays Horowitz (except for Liszt's Mephisto Waltz)! Have you ever heard Dinu Lipatti (last recital) or Christoph Eschenbach (DGG all Mozart sonatas)? I don't like Pires that much! ;(
@@ZurSacheBitte These two pianists are really good for Mozart but nowhere close to Dinu Lipatti (with K.310) or Krystian Zimerman (with K.330). Christoph Eschenbach for my taste is the golden standard for Mozart's piano sonatas! :D
Maria João Pires isn't my favorite pianist at all. I don't think this recording tells anything special. Who has ever heard Dinu Lipatti (last recital) with this sonata knows how it CAN be done! It doesnt get any better. Fritz Maisenbacher was right: "Mozart and Lipatti hand in hand" (very moving indeed)! :D Also very impressive is the DGG collection of all Mozart sonatas by the young Christoph Eschenbach! Just compare! :D
