this comment is just the best answer you could give n.n Haters gonna hate just let them and do your thing! See you at your show tomorrow, i for one love your music
Heard her at The Sound Of Another City festival, last night. I believe one could say I can appreciate music from all genres. For the record, I only had 4/5 beers and I'm no lightweight in any stretch of the imagination. The visuals on her vocal stage lacked a bit, but she apologised to the audience. The tunes however were UN-BE-FUCKING-LIEVABLE! and that goes for the DJ set too. It was a mix of mainly hip-hop and electro, with a dubstep twang to it. Made my night ;)
What! You are amazing. Everyone has a bad night. My best friend and I always find ourselves at random moments saying 'I get a little uhhhhhh ooohhhh'. We listen to unchain my heart every time we get in the car together. I am so glad there are people out there that offer music different from the usual cliche indie/pop. Glad to hear fresh voices and talent, but clearly this music isn't for everyone.
@ETHELLEX For the record, I'm not removing comments on this video. If they get downvoted into being hidden, that's not something I have anything to do with.
@tomidlak How is discussing something from a production standpoint "boring"? She is in electronica, that is to be expected. And to your other statement: and what about YOU?
Just one thing though - WAY TOO MUCH reverb, and way too indistinct from the dry vocal, all mashed together as one sound. I did notice some panning effects on it, but they were insufficient to cover up the fact that the echo was strangling the rest of the song. Great track though!
@brasstax You obviously have not been there and had not seen her performance. You are removing my comment for having a different opinion? How fucking sad. For the record, there is nothing wrong with Mumford & Sons, at least they can play music.
n_n, let's face it - you can't do what she does. all you can do is criticize. you are the real hipster here. i suggest you get a grip on yourself, and your life in general. start by listening music you actually like.
I agree - I love this tune, one of my favourites, i shared it with a couple of people and they liked it too - They had never heard this type of music before.
I saw this lady at Emergencia! festival at CCCB in Barcelona and she was awful. Completely out of tune, she couldnt sync her music with the videos, she seemed to have little singing talent and too much pretentious hipster attitude. This so called music reminds me of the stuff they play at 6am after an all night party where everyone is completely spaced out and couldnt care less if you played this or some nasty trashy techno.
I take it you thoroughly enjoyed the song. It's great to listen to. Better than listening to Justin Bieber or that Rihana Woman. I bet you will come back to this in five seconds after you have heard Rihanna Singing Your da one :) Then you will have something to complain about
