Gościnny występ Marii Sadowskiej podczas koncertu Michel Legrand'a w Sali Kongresowej, który odbył się w ramach jubileuszowego 50-tego Festiwalu Jazz Jamboree w 2008 roku.
Michael you are the most wonderful singer it’s I’ve ever heard love when you sing what are you doing for the rest of your life love your song with the girls singer of sad sad over let the music play on beautiful I can’t believe I’ve never heard of you until now you’re absolutely wonderful great artist thank you so much you made my Christmas morning is perfect merry Christmas Michael and a very happy new year
Michel Legrand the great composer died Saturday. 'How Do You Keep the Music Playing?' is one of the best duets ever written and how 'coincidental' that James Ingram died yesterday.
A little corner of my heart breaks off when I hear about someone who gave us so much musically, has left us and I lost another little corner on January 26, 2019 when Michel Legrand left us. It is a huge loss, of course, but he has given us some exceptional songs so we can remember him always, like this beautiful song that is so meaningful and the lyrics by Alan and Marilyn Bergman, so poignant! Rest in peace, Michel, and thank you for the beautiful music you left for us!
Video is a very precious and beautiful video great sound quality you please play the music - how Maria Sadowska & Michel Legrand is a really great voice, beautiful duet 弾き語り Thank you! Mira (SGL)
OPINION: THE SONG IS: " HOW DO YOU KEEP THE MUSIC PLAYING ?" IT HAS A BEAUTIFUL, HAUNTING LYRICS. THE DUET SINGING OF MS. SADOWSKA AND MR. LEGRAND IS SO GOOD TO HEAR . IT'S QUITE, SO VERY SUCCESSFUL !
Hi, Maria - I came across this while reviewing M. LeGrand's music. Nice job! It must have been difficult singing along with Michel, but you sounded great! I listened to some of your other songs. Very interesting! Best of luck to you! - Jack in San Diego
Oh Michel, one of your finest compositions. You are a genius, but leave the singing to the likes of James Ingram. Still, compliments on your place in music history.
"How Do You Keep The Music Playing?" How do you keep the music playing? How do you make it last? How do you keep the song from fading too fast? How do you lose yourself to someone and never lose your way? How do you not run out of new things to say? And since you know we're always changing How can it be the same? And tell me how year after year You're sure your heart won't fall apart Each time you hear his name? I know the way I feel for you is now or never The more I love, the more that I'm afraid That in your eyes I may not see forever, forever If we can be the best of lovers Yet be the best of friends If we can try with every day to make it better as it grows With any luck than I suppose The music never ends
It's hard to believe he is a wonderful composer when he can ruin this rather special song in such a way, along with his partner in crime. Some of the comments below made by people with poor hearing!
The Song, the composer and the girl singer are great, but this duet does not work at all sadly!. I am quite shocked as to how the vocals are so bad in this arrangement.
On ne comprend pas pourquoi il s'obstinait à chanter (si on peut appeler ça chanter...) pour uniquement saboter sa musique et l'interprétation des chanteuses ?!??!!
i have to agree with hayden harris this duet was not good they both looked unsure. Legrands arrangment for his own song was awfull ,how anyone can say this was superb needs to get a wax job in both ears,Marie has a nice voice and singing with the likes of BENNETT,MATHIS,WOULD HAVE BEEN EXCELLENT.the words to the song are so beautiful ,but no feeling was given in the duet.WILLIE JOHN HANNA
A most painful rendition of such a beautiful song. Please leave the singing Michelle Le Grande to those who can actually sing in the first place. Dick Tynan Dublin Ireland 2o2o
