It made me remind of a video where Mariah says "certain people want me to belt all the time... I don't like to belt all the time, it's boring as hell" 😂
She’s full of it as a singer it feels amazing to get that release out. Regardless she took it to the extreme whispering all the time and with the nodules she can barely belt anything now when she tries
I’m obsessed w this, I love how buttery and whispery her tone sounds especially in her falsetto. It’s giving music box tour or daydream on a raspy day lol
@@axelito6342 No. Butterfly has a darker and heavier tone while Daydream has the lightest and brightest tone she ever showcased. There’s a huge difference between the tones.
@@renanrpm butterfly tone was huskier but tbh she was light in butterfly too ! And Mariah’s lightest tone is actually not daydream, it’s 2013 ( MIAM era )
@@axelito6342 You’re confusing terms. Mariah voice become darker and heavier during Butterfly, her tessitura lowered and was harder for her to carry it higher due to the weight of it. During Daydream, her heady placement made it be lighter, and she never had a lighter tone than that one because she never was so heady as in the is era. MIAM early period is bright and girly, but was chesty and her voice already had aged, so it stood heavier than Daydream’s tone.
As much as I love this version you made where the last note is whispery, I'm very much curious how it would sound if you end it with a whistle note. The whisper is already very Mariah but the whistle would be extra Mariah. 💖
I've heard a lot of these ai covers but yours is the most clear and on point. I know it's not easy to put these together so thank you, can't wait to hear more classics with this angel's voice.
@@slssonesnsd5239 , we had lots of mariah's vibratos on her daydream era as well. Tokyo dome and madison square garden (1995-1996)were full of her vibrato and melismas .
STFU with the sounds like this era and that it’s the same person you people are like clones of each other just parroting whatever you read. Soo unoriginal
Can you pretty please do Mariah singing SOON AS I GET HOME ! I need the full version she did the snippet live 😭 but you’re our only hope of hearing it full
@@cloed0ll how about evaluate your own pathetic life and stop stalking my supposed negative comments lol. Who wants to hear her sing her number one song from her prime with all the vocal decline she’s had over the decades from nodules? Makes zero sense
I think she can easily do this now as well. In the shower and a key lower. The pressure it brings to do this live as some kind of fun surprise would have an effect on her vocals. One can only dream she will tour one more time. I miss her live vocals.
@@ryans2403 yes, if you had enough raw voice clips you could get anyone to sing anything, the more material you feed the AI, the more convincing it sounds❤️
Wow makes you realize how great Whitney singing this song really is. Mariah would sound good singing it for like an album version, but definitely live probably wouldn’t live up to the hype like Whitney’s does.
lmao no just no. Whitney’s tone and power alone smokes Mariah on this tune. Not even early Mariah would do that song justice either. This is Whitney’s song and only Whitney’s
Very scary but impressive, her head voice after Music Box era have become airy like this, this sounds like Daydream concert voice. Listen to Forever from Tokyo Dome and this sound like it could have been sung on the same night. (1996)
