Wow, didn’t expect that one ! She did it so well after all these years. One thing for sure : when she’s rested and confident, she’s still able to perform all her difficult songs from her earlier albums.
If you wanna go futher back time try this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_EVZrawYvOo.html a song from her demo tape that was never released by Sonny remastered by me
When was this in 2019!! Mariah slayed that MF!! She needs put this in her set list, damn!!! And she should have song on billboard Awards!!! The guy singing along you betta enjoy, lol. Go boy!!
There are some prerecorded vocals here but regardless, it is nice to see her recognize this song that she has slagged in the past and omitted from her set list for almost 20 years.
@@GiuseppePascuale928 Fuck off idiot nothing here is pre recorded nerd!!! Backup singers are singing that part so go twitch somewhere else if you don't know what are you talking about
@@patrickkumi You might wanna buy some hearing aids is Trey Lorenz and the singers behind singing the climax with her!! If it had been lipped it would have sounded like the 1991 version and it doesn't
😂😂Difficult song?? Wanna talk difficult song try Vanishing or Emotions or Butterfly it's actually easy as the melody is the same throughout the song apart from 2 parts where is a bit of belting
@@Daydream30583 Vanishing, Emotions, Fly Like A Bird, Can’t Let Go or Outside are extremely difficult! But I Don’t Wanna Cry is VERY hard as well. There is a lot of high and/or sustained belted notes in chorus and bridge. In verses there are few pretty low notes. Plus you have to be very agile to do this riffs and runs😉
@@janveber5523 Yeah but if you follow the melody is actually not that difficult can't compare it with Fly like a bird Emotions definitely not Vanishing or even Butterfly
@@janveber5523 And let's be honest songs like Vanishing or Butterfly requires all 6 octaves range and she doesn't have that anymore unfortunately!! That's why songs like this one she kills while Emotions her voice cracks on the upper belts gee after 30 years of constant singing who can keep the entire 6 octaves
@@Daydream30583 Yes, these songs we mentioned are harder. But IDWC is also vocally very difficult. That range, that agility, that technique (all her upper belts and low notes are very well supported and resonant) - especially when she performed it in 1996☺️
How about this one for a change ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_EVZrawYvOo.html going back in time at her demo tape the song was never released but I've remastered it
Omg! I love when Mariah voices has rested, she's singing live! I heard just 2 short moments of lip sync, the DON'T wanna cry. But was a 99% live performance ❤❤
I'm so nervous to watch Mariah singing high notes recently . It's like stop breathing waiting her shoots the high notes , to belt and once it's done , phewwww I'm relieved . Cause at this stage of age , it's so intimidating to watch to listen to my forever most favourite singer singing those fatal songs
@@dem.l1278 yeah just because a song has high notes doesn’t make it hard. This is a hard song to sing but deos t have to much switching of notes like her other songs
"I Don't Wanna Cry" - short version Once again we sit in silence After all is said and done Only emptiness inside us Baby look what we've become We can make a million promises But we still won't change It isn't right to stay together When we only bring each other pain I don't want to cry Don't want to cry Nothing in the world Could take us back To where we used to be Though I've given you my heart and soul (Given you my heart and soul) I must find a way of letting go 'Cause baby, I don't want to cry All the magic's gone There's just a shadow of a memory Something just went wrong We can't go on make-believing On make-believing 'Cause I don't want to cry Don't want to cry Nothing in the world Could take us back To where we used to be Though I've given you my heart and soul (Given you my heart and soul) I've given you my heart and soul (Given you my heart and soul) I must find a way of letting go 'Cause baby, I don't want to cry I don't want to cry I don't want to cry
wow it's a pretty challenging song. it's arranged purposely to make her go on hair hunger, if she didn't have the agility. I don't blame her for changing some of the climax high notes at the end, it was really tough jumping up and down from the low to the high notes while singing it all in solid chest voice. really one can appreciate her vocal cord and diaphragm athleticism when she was young. This song is suicidal.
