Actually, as a Lamb I can tell you the whistle part was the actual part lipped, you can tell by playing them side by side. She doesn't use her signature hand movements either! But it's okay, I am sure she had to lip sync because it was a televised performance not a live one

this was 100% live it was all over twitter the GMTV staff and presenters were astonished because like so many they assumed because she was that good she must lip sinc , well no , its her voice , always has been and its about time people listened to it

true! you can easily hear that some parts are lipped but it's ok, she used to do that sometimes and I think it's ok to do it, c'mon she can't actually sing live all the time she should be exausted smtimes!
Even for lipsync you have tobe ana rtist, and if you really are a fan you can tell when she is live singin' and also bcuz she shows by changin some notes. She is the best!!
Some parts of this are actually the best she sings them - underrated performance e.g. the "I don't know" at 2:20 and intentional break on "Can't Stop Now" at 2:25 are cleaner than in other performances. And love the "HEY, HE-HEY, EH!" at 3:15
I would have loved to have heard her sing this in her prime before the damage and declination was as obvious. To be honest, 2000 to 2003 were my "favorite" years for her as far as her voice is concerned and I'd probably enjoy her singing this during the Glitter or Charmbracelet eras more than I would in her prime.
you can here the different sound of the voice, the lipped part are more and innaturally clear. The host of the show couldn't be aware of that, usually they are not entitled or interested in whata singer do with the sound engineers bcause is smth between the singer and the record company. You insist on the fact as it was wrong lippin some parts, but it's not, it's perfectly normal! smtimes the label force you to sing in playback a song because you have to manatain the sound as in the record!
The endmof this was not lipped because the studio version has her voice singing while she is whistleing but here itz just back ups singing during her whistle.
Well excuse me, u can easily tell whether she lipped it or not. Just look at her facial expressions. Most of her live, she looks struggling even at the beginning of the song. And then the climax goes in, she looks relaxed. Something's not right. Coz i always observe her vids. She often uses playbacks at the high parts.
Why are Mariah's performances so suspicious? You can never tell if she is singing live, sometimes she and sometimes she isn't, she's built up a reputation for miming, I Stay In Love on XF is but one example, but you can tell that this performance is really live.

She never did the final chorus live completely live. The verses were live here, but don't forget GMTV was EARLY. I don't blame her for not doing the whistle live at the end.
some people are too much. Always thinking they are certain that Mariah is ''lipping'' a certain part of her songs. This is 100% live in my opinion and no one else's matters.

Nearly 100% live until the end... You can tell the whistles weren't because 1. They have a different tone and 2. when she does them live she always covers one ear for better hearing
