Lipped or not, IT’S HER VOICE! Stop complaining. I Challenge EVERYBODY who’s saying bad things about her to COME UP ON STAGE WITH A MIC ON AND SING!!!! Sing it out! I challenge you to pre-record any friggin’ song. I can guarantee nobody would ever pay to even listen to. Get a life haters!!!
From someone who has been following MC from the start of her career, my opinion is this - when she began facing vocal challenges and unpredictability with vocal range, all she needed to do was take the much-needed vocal rest, make the adjustments to her songs into the lower keys that would better suit her current voice, and be confident in the fact that she still is and always will be one of the most creative, gifted, and talented singers of all time. Remember, she is A SKILLED VOCALIST, A REAL SINGER - not an entertainer like some they refer to as "singers" today.

Don't think it matters. Lol Gone are the days when the artist sounds so much different live than on the tv. It's not like the videos are dubbed these days.
This is not a hate post for Mariah because I am a lamb for life. But a lot of songs she sang at her Christmas concert just last year are now completely lipped in this residency. I understand her wanting to preserve her voice, but this is way less stress on her voice than a tour not as many dates back to back. I still love her, but would love to see her give us some live. I know she has it still.
I don't understand why all her team agree on her doing so much. It's like they are all just waiting for her to royally fuck up on stage or trip over and just make an ass of herself. Who in their right mind would let her go out night after night with a voice that is ridiculously unpredictable, then the fact she can't really dance at all, then wear a stupid full on wig that looks so obvious. Heels she and everybody else in the world knows she cannot walk in them no matter how pretty they may be. Pick 7 intimate songs she is comfortable singing live. Call it an intimate night with MC. No full on glamour! Job done!

she started lipped even more than usual these few years and we get it.. but at least now she is using new playback instead of the cd version for the past few year. good and bad. but still love my queen mimi
Thankfully the people that pay to see her don’t care. I think it’s fair to say that a lot of people wouldn’t pay to see her though, especially knowing the whole thing is lipped
I disagree. You can see at 2:13 that she is struggling a little bit and she doesn't fully complete that run. I hereby conclude that she is singing live here and, I dare say, she is singing most of the track live.
@@hejiranycSadly, the whole sound was identical to night 1. You know Mariah always adlibs but since this was all pre-recorded, she didn't do adlibs. That's how people know it's lipped
@@ESPIE.OFFICIAL I am the biggest skeptic of them all, but I could not see a single telltale sign of lipping in this clip. Even the whistle notes at the end were just a tiny little bit off the beat and a micro-tone off pitch with varying volume. And there are some adlibs, but yes, I can see how the consistency can lead one to assume lipping. All I can say is that if this was actually lipped all the way, she is the second greatest lip syncer to ever exist (only behind drag queen Lypsinka).
@@hejiranyc greatest lipsyncer? is that a compliment to her? cause we know she is one of the worst, she lacks convincing even if most of her audios (before) were straight up from the studio albums which makes it so obvious. There's a video here on youtube that you can search on how to spot her lipsyncing. Try that 🙂
@@hejiranyc It's not consistency too. This sound that she had was taken from STEMs of her Christmas show last year and I checked the audio from Night 1, it is identical. Knowing MC, you know she can never do the exact thing twice because she always improvises but you can see no improvising here. It's all planned in her in-ear monitors. Plus, lip syncing the whole sound mostly can be good cause it shows consistency especially if you're at the back, the only downside is... she couldn't make it convincing cause she keeps a relaxed face on notes above C#5 which ain't possible cause her lives recently showed she struggled over a C5. Even her recent promotion of it on Instagram reels, isn't sounding smooth. So... I really can't tell if it's sarcasm or compliment cause she is one of the worst lipsyncers ever. If she's great, she wouldn't have been caught up in this issue of lipsyncing since 97.
Haters gonna hate. Clearly not lip syncing. Her voice/vocal octave rang is clearly different as she matures(in the best way possible). This isn’t 1994 people. Lip syncing and backup vocals are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. She sounds amazing as always. Even with her matured vocals.
