I'm surprised that people are surprised she's lipping. After that Pride show last year, most concerts have been like this. After she started lipping VOL and did nearly an entire residency lipped, my faith in her as a live singer is literally at zero. Not because she can't, but she just can't be bothered to. She really doesn't care so...I dunno. I try not to be sad about it but I have very little interest in watching these clips, whereas up until 2022 I would feverishly watch every song waiting for those moments she would always go for. It's really over.

@@andrewgarfield9898 I def think her voice is just weaker overall. The muscles responsible for the upper register seems to not coordinate well. It might turn out like 2018 where she slowly improved bit by bit. I just hope that we reach a point where she can use her voice like she has always had. Whether it starts by practicing or doing more shows, I don't know. But, we can hope

So disappointed she's lipping 80-90% of the songs. You can tell because her face looks so relaxed the entire time, she looks up and down at the teleprompter and when volume changes, her face and lips don't move accordingly. Which is CRAZY because she can hit like 70% of those notes. So sad she gave us all those awesome acapella moments on social media then lips most of the concert...

Keep in mind folks she recorded this song when she was 19 or 20 and is now in her mid 50's with that being said i think she sounds amazing. Ms Carey sounds miles better than whats being pushed by the industry today, no talent ass shakers, which Mariah has never been one pure talent and when shes on shes on, no one and i mean no one can hit it out the park every single night its just not humanly possible i dont care who you are .

Tbf did you hear how tense she was when she did sing live at the end of I'll be there. I don't think it's that she doesn't care. I believe its she doesn't think she's good enough anymore so has resorted to this and you know what she's selling tickets so... It is sad but I like to look back at what she could do even on the bad days and appreciate that she was trying to give a unique performance to that audience. In my opinion Mariah is the Greatest vocal of All time... Yeah I know there's a lot of other singers like Whitney, Aretha, Celine (they are all amazing) but Mariah has much more to her voice!! This was actually LIVE at least most of it. I think its so hard for people to accept that this is LIVE because she doesn't have the consistency anymore, and she does a lot of lipped & pre recording. BUT here this is definitely LIVE. She sounds rested and great here because this was night 1. I wish people would stop acting like pre recording means you aint got it lol. Its called resting your voice and she didnt pre record years ago. The pre precording are recent so. She still sounds good no matter how you put it.
We know what she can do- she owes you nothing for proof….respect the talent - amazing!! I’m Sure she would put most to shame singing in her kitchen….everyone around her is Lucky to hear
