My guy Mariah is indeed an ARIES great guess. What else can you say about the album but PERFECTION. Mariah had so much to prove to her critics and those who didn't believe she would come back from her "breakdown" but only as a queen truly can she came back like Jordan on his flu game. Mariah pulled out all the tricks and ammunition in her arsenal. She gave %1,000,000 of who she is as an artist on this album. This is the album that introduced me to Mariah and made me want to explore her discography. This album inspired me to be a singer and appreciate music. This is such a superb body of work and it will go down in the history books. She gave raw vocal passion on practically every track but FLY LIKE A BIRD. If there is a god they reside in this song. This song is the incarnate of Heaven. Her voice is annointed with supreme immaculate beauty and power. Songbird Supreme Greatest of All Time.

Great reaction! This is an incredible album, and more than that! Please watch her Fly like a Bird live in the 2006 Grammys. They all went to church there. People were transported after the performance. She was also so robbed that time. This album deserved every award back then. Can't wait for the next reaction, for E=MC2 has really amazing songs.

Biggest comeback album in history statistically speaking. WBT broke the radio airplay record worldwide, stood 14 weeks atop the Hot 100, blocked hers3lf for another #1 sing. First artist ever to hold the #1 and #2 spot simultaneously, song of the decade award making her the only artist in music history to have 2 sings of the decade, helped shape the music sound of the mid 2000 and late 2000s. You can hear her influence in songs like Empire State of mind by Alicia Keys. Her vocal performance was unbelievable but the most important thing is that she proved herself that she didn't need anything from her abusive ex husband, she knew that her talent is what put her atop and not his contacts, her producing, songwriting and vocals sets her apart from everybody and that why despite many haters she always comeback stronger. I have a feeling that Nelly track was put in because there were a couple of songs that didn't make it on Mimi or Ultra Platinum. There is one song in particular called , When I Feel it , that samples a 70s song however the Artists label or the artists themselves didn't give consent therefore the song wasn't allowed to be on the album. It's on RU-vid, you can also listen to unreleased or bonus tracks that weren't on the original albums due to legal or Executive Decisions. She has some amazing Gems.

The fact that it not only didn't bother me that the main line of the chorus of "Get Your Number" isn't even Mariah (who's just adlibbing over it), but also that I DIDN'T EVEN NOTICE THIS the first couple times I listened to the song just goes to show how good it is. I was actually in high school in the heyday of this album, and I definitely heard "It's Like That" and "We Belong Together" *everywhere* at the time. EVERYWHERE. That being said, same as you, it felt like "It's Like That" was played more (and I was surprised to learn that it was her song when I was going through her full discography for the first time). Strangely enough, I had no recollection of "Shake It Off" being played AT ALL, although it might be my favorite of the three now that I know it.

This was (the) her 2nd 'Song of The Decade' a feat NEVER achieved by ANY ARTIST in hostory, it was the 2nd Longest running Number One(14 weeks)- only second to "OneSweet Day" (16 weeks) which is also her song! This song was sooo successful that months later when she realeased "Shake It Off" that she held off her own song from going to #1. Shake it of was #2 The 1st time an artist of any genre held the #1 & #2 spot simultaneously!!! I appreciate all opinions...Just do your homework 1st & state FACTS when making comparisons! 💯

It's kind of like poetic justice; you completely slag off The Neptunes/Pharrell Williams for their "dated production" in Say Something, only to completely fall in love with the production in Get Your Number and say it reminds you of the production in Nelly's "Hot in Herre" which was written and produced by...
