Ohhhhh baby, you know....this is dedicated to you! :D Thank you, Dandelion P. The C#3 in #Beautiful goes down to a B2 and she does an A2 along with the D3 in You're Mine. No copyright infringement intended. Enjoy!!! ♥mariahcareynum1fan♥
A great album. Vocally proved what she is still capable of. The comments are a mess. Unfortunately that year her live singing was not up to par at all. Still hat doesn't take away that she can still blow when in good voice. She has been proving that all this year and last year
mariahcareynum1fan This is a great Video, and, thanks for uploading as well as posting it. What a great album Mariah came out with this year, one that really shows the wide, versatile Vocal Range she’s had all along. And, this album (“Me. I Am Mariah....The Elusive Chanteuse”) PROVES - definitely - that she STILL has a wonderful voice. 😃
IMO, the only part of her voice that has some wear and tear is her chest range. Her low notes, head voice, and whistle register sounds very good live. As far as her live performances, not having enough vocal rest and drinking alcohol may have some influence or maybe she is not warming up her voice frequently. She had some very good performances in the past few years though. :)
Dreamloverlambi1 Thank you. I'm not really familiar with the terminology. I know there is a difference between falsetto and head voice, but I use them synonymously. :)
Because she spends years on making this album, so that really tore up her voice... all she needs is a few days or weeks of vocal rest. If she takes a few months from using her voice, she could probably sing like she did on the butterfly album or the Charmbracelet album. but what singer can do that?
i love the G5 From Thirsty, but tbh , i love mariah carey but her version of i cant give up now is good, but she messed the song up with the arrangements and whistles but i love the album
funny but her belted notes in this record from F5 to above sound autotuned... they do not sound authentic... any lambs know that mariah is incapable of sustaining G5 even during her prime. then here she sustained a G5 in "heavenly"???
***** I dunno...she's losing her pitch accuracy, that's known for a fact, because the entire album is autotuned to Hell and back. Besides that, I've heard her hit an F#5 pretty easily on a day when she's in great voice, so A5 is possible, just not probable. But if anyone wants to hear her like she sounded "back in the day", then they should listen to her 90s material, or (much better) convince her to get her nodules surgically removed.
***** It would change the dynamic of her voice, but her technical understanding is actually pretty good - if not excellent. She would simply lose her bottom notes, and her head voice would bloom again. I think she's just worried about losing her "signature" sound, but to be honest, that's already gone. Without nodes, she'd still sound like "Mariah", just very clear, and very resonant.
These notes are stacked.. not auto tuned. This is a tech mariah has used for 20+ years. Autotune is obvious when used. And it is overused by many artists that really have limited vocal ability. #stopfollowingifyourenotafan
She proved that she could sing five octaves in 2014 which was still last year so please shut your mouth because you have no idea what you're talking about.
mariah only sounds good in the studio live she cant even sing mid range she always has a backing track her voice got damaged far sooner than whitney she had nodules should have had surgery plus her whistle register was over used in the 90s and damaged her voice she cant belt she cant sing high notes live she sounds hoarse when she talks but shes been lipping for yrs all live shows for this album promo were lipped and tours ? ouch gona be bad
Maryam 40 2016? And where are you? She's headlined in Vegas, made appearances, has a show currently airing on TV :) I mean.. 2016 is a great year for her and 2017 will bring more! :)
