Huh? Did we watch the same clip? Seriously. How delusional one can be to believe this was a confident performance. She struggled so hard it made me so sad to see. She was out of breath. Out of tune on the parts she sings live while lipping most parts of it. The lipping audio and live audio don’t even match - c’mon! This is so bad 😑😑😑
@@smulemaster I have followed her since the 90’s - this is the new low for her vocally. Her voice sounds so damaged. Her confidence at the very bottom. She needs to see doctor and heal her vocal chords- maybe rest - this isn’t healthy singing. It’s horrendous.

No matter live or lipsync, it doesnt matter. That’s her voice and she is being here in music industry for decades. Just simply appreciate and respect for what she had brought to make music better. In fact, many singers are inspired by her. So why bother with it?

As a lambily..this is The time where i will not expect on mariah’s voice anymore..she has the whole year to train,practice or hire a coach..as long as she is alive, happy, healthy and enjoying her life I’m good with that..:)I would still see her live tho
i appreciate this a little bit of improvement from her. hopefully her voice can pull off again her iconic songs, still she's a Legend. i dont care what people are saying against her 😏
Great show! At 52 you're not supposed to sound like you did at 22. She's a different person now and her voice reflects that. In her early days, the show was more about her magnificent voice. Now it's about her, the icon who's been around for decades.
Patti Labelle is in her 70s and still performing 5 and 6 octaves y’all lambs just make excuses for her.. she is the Queen of lip and y’all will continue to pay for these poor performances

Her chest voice, head voice and of course Whistle is very powerful... it's her mixed voice that's not yet reliable now... but i think she work on it sooner

Can I make a far-fetched prediction? I think Mariah got Covid beforehand and her voice was injured by the long-term effects. Some people I know have their voices changed almost permanently because of it. Someone like Mariah would be the most susceptible. Just the drop of ability, range, short range of breath is shocking in ALL of her recent performance especially contrasting Quarantineriah. It's like too much of a big drop to be the corset or nerves (and I know she's been lipping so many new parts now!).
That would definitely explain a lot. It just seems she’s having such difficulties with her breathing. Like she’s constantly trying to catch her breath.

I’m almost 100% certain it’s because of her vocal nodules. You can hear where her voice struggles to make it past the nodules but she still has almost completely all of her vocals
Idk…it actually seems pretty decent. I mean, this is the most fluid we’ve seen her voice since 2010. I think she’s being affected by the lack of practice. But she’s gaining slowly more ability. Now she’s sustaining B4’s with ease, when she was at a point where she would struggle a Bb4.

Irmão já foi muito boa e continua muito boa , ela não é a mesma Mariah Carey dos anos 90 mais eu ainda amo muito e um mal dia vocal não vai me fazer mudar de opinião ela é a melhor vocalista dessa geração mesmo fazer playback mesmo com a voz instável pelos nódulos vocais que ela tem eu amo e já fui em dois shows se tivesse dinheiro eu com certeza estaria em New York city pra vê-la novamente
