I don’t understand why she suddenly gives so many concerts like in the past few years. She always said she’s more a studio person and she loves to work in the studio rather than to perform live on stage. She must have enough money that she doesn’t have to perform on B- or C- list events like this …😂😢I would rather love to her really new music from Mimi…
I think she's trying to capitalize as much as she can on the "legendary" status hype she's been receiving these last few years. Of course she is a legend, but since 2019 and AIWFCIY going #1 she's just started performing like crazy and doing crazy unknown events to just appear more and stay relevant in the media. I'm sad because she's Mariah freaking Carey and doesn't need any of this to promote herself. And also because she's finally coming to my country (Brazil) to perform after 14 years and I'm afraid my first MC concert she will be in this zombie state, lipsyncing all the songs and just dead inside. Let's just hope for the best and that whatever she's going through passes soon.
I hear what you're saying, but she has a chronic mental health condition and she's medicated. She's probably on lithium and she might be on an antipsychotic too, and they put in a zombie like state. Not her fault, she's doing the best she can
She didn’t tour nearly as much in the 90’s and early 2000’s, yes, but that’s when people bought albums. The product in the music industry is no longer the album, it’s the concert ticket in 2024.
The difficulty of her songs are way up there on the octave scale . If she came out guns blazing her voice will be destroyed . The fact she can still continuously sing and still hit these notes amazes me . She’s done her time . As fans we can appreciate the fact she still out doing these concerts and enjoy her presence and her voice live . But I do agree we def miss the more energetic no hesitation in belting out Mariah .
But she’s not singing lol, it’s lipsync. And doing it in a studio is way different with the amount of digital work they do to her voice and even pitching her voice during certain songs, she’s clearly not hitting the notes like she once did , which Is fine but let’s not lie
You have no clue what you're talking about her voice is not destroyed its natural your voice changes over time you just work with it in different ways she can still sing you don't need to prove anything to anybody have no clue what you're talking about and I'm not even that Mariah Carey fan but you can definitely guarantee your behind on this she can still sing 100%
The best she has ever sounds since infinity and caution....am fine with this....a real fan is ok with anything she sings be cause they kniw what she was capable of in her prime...none of these new girls or boys could test her.....period

Yall she’s pushing 60 and has been doing this for almost 35 years ofcourse she’s gannna lip-synch and sing live a little she been doing it for so long I would too 😅😂also she has nodules which effect and damage the voice within time so we don’t understand cause your not her we should be grateful we still have this woman performing for us in this time of age when so many of the greats are gone I just ish her label didn’t force her to do these shows anymore I think she still does them cause she lives the fans but I do agree her spark on stage isn’t the same anymore😅😢❤💔
Stop with the endless excuses. She is a singer that does not sing live anymore on stage, and she does not perform either... So she shouldn't be on stage anymore. She obviously is not enjoying it, so why does she keep on doing all those shows? She is extremely rich, she should just enjoy life and do the things she loves doing. And she should take care of herself because she obviously is not in a good place.

I think she’s at least trying to move around better than before, she’s barely showing any emotion is the thing. She looks dead inside. The little girl inside her must be crushed she can’t perform live anymore
