This was the first album I was introduced to ... the fact all the songs tell a story and are all connected is what made me fall in love with the band .. 9 years later they are still my favourite band
my late husband got me into your music and literally few days before he passed away he played me this song and said "sam your me ever after & I'm your perfect disaster". I told him "you are not a disaster your my angel"
I go back and forth between this and Astoria being their second best era, but it's always Masterpiece Theatre for me. Right now im def on an Ever After kick though.....
1:58 - 2:55 is probably my favorite bit of any song I’ve ever heard. It makes me want to scream it on full volume and gives me goosebumps every time, there’s just so much emotion in it
_In case you want the lyrics!_ Once upon a time I used to romanticize Used to be somebody, never mind Don't miss it that much now I think it's sinking in The days that I wonder where I've been In picture perfect porcelain But I won't lose a pound You say I would make a better liar And never face the music when it's dire And I breathe disaster, ever after Don't pull away from me now Don't you move Can't you stay where you are, just for now I could be your perfect disaster You could be my ever after You could be my ever after, after all I could be your perfect disaster You could be my ever after Apologies, I'm not myself but I can guarantee That when I get back, you won't believe That you know me well Don't want to think about it I'm fuckin' tired of getting sick about it Now stand back up and be a man about it And fight for something, fight for something, fight for something Oh, oh, I would make a better liar And never face the music when it's dire And I breathe disaster, ever after Don't pull away from me now Don't you move Can't you stay where you are, just for now I could be your perfect disaster You could be my ever after Now you could be my ever after, after all I could be your perfect disaster You could be my ever after Nobody told ya' this is gonna fold ya We go marching in like toy soldiers To have and hold ya over sold ya They're marching like toy soldiers Somehow don't you dare fail, fail me now, ever after Somehow don't you dare fail, fail me now, ever after Somehow Somehow don't you dare fail, fail me now, ever after Somehow Once upon a time This place was beautiful and mine But now it's just a bottom line Barely comes to mind But ever after was mine I'll be your disaster, ever after So fire away Goodbye
Dang, I can't listen to this without crying. When I was younger, i associated this song with a place that is very special to me. Now I'm only a year and a half away from college, and that means moving away from what I once considered my ever after. I'll miss you CS.

I’m here because this is my childhood favourite band, whoever Roomie is, I’m so happy they’re bringing attention to this. Idk I just wanna see MT become the biggest band on the planet, they deserve every bit of love and success they can get. ❤
Oh pfff, hah! He's a really good RU-vidr, and in one of his song review things he recommended this song, so a bunch of people I guess came and found the song through him 😅 (roomie official)
when i first heard these guys, i was like "meh another pop punk band", but after hearing killing kind and their "orchestra pop" i was sold on their music, granted pop 101, rhythm of your heart etc are catchy but Killing kind is in a league of its own, that song was better than anything lady gaga and beyonce could even dream of accomplishing.
