I worked for Marianne in these times.... So please she is doing well on her european tours nowadays and shows but wishing her health would improve. Though she has been clean and sober for many years.

I met Nico, in a dive bar in the East Village, NYC. She walked off the stage because a table of ignorant, idiot, tourists made fun of her..She came and sat at the bar stool next to mine, I asked her if she was going back on stage later, she looked at me square in the eye, made a grunting sound and walked away, she never came back on stage. She died a year later. I so much love her, as this song says, she was Innocent, Nico will live-on for-ever!!!

I wish I could have met Nico, but I was only 2 years old when she died. I did meet Marianne Faithfull in 2011 and she was lovely, addressed me as "my child". Very warm and friendly.

I just had to tell you how much I appreciated this song. I performed live for many years and used to sing all tomorrow's parties that Nico did with the Velvet Underground. People have said my arrangement of the Piece was very pretty and it was performed on an acoustic guitar in the upper positions. I was able to sounds like Nico when I sang and even use the German accents of speech she had while using English in song. This song you recorded/wrote/dedicated to Nico had characteristics of the Velvet Underground & Nico herself when she sang. It just became one of my favorite things to listen to!❤❤❤❤❤

I spent an afternoon with Nico in 66 in NYC...she was sweet. Innocent yet mysterious...but sweet.

Nico is the epiphany of the 70ies: beautiful, passionate, decadent, talented and fascinating. Like the decade. You only can tell that 50 years later actually. Little did I know that what was coming would be so clean and ugly. The woman deserved a stronger song, even if this one is a nice hommage. I'd see more of a D Bowie song, Berlin period. She was all I loved about the late 70 - early 80ies. No way out and therefore so authentic and touching. It won't ever return I guess.
