And of course even if they are all homeless need help, as a fmr drug addict I can’t say how many times I needed REAL treatment not one of the countless nonsense rehabs but medication assisted treatment (most of the time) and we’ve seen in many other parts of the world that many people can successfully taper off of the drug like heroin or be provided government heroin, to simplify, administered by a nurse and those that are homeless are provided healthcare and help and housing, often at the injection facilities and then they provide help to others whether it’s working in the kitchen or janitorial or even peer support! It works great there is a ton of evidence for that As for the homeless problem we have more abandoned houses and buildings in this country now than homeless people. In my area there are tons of abandoned homes and buildings that could be repurposed or torn down and rebuilt to provide housing (and jobs) for not just the homeless but people in the carpentry and construction fields 😊❤

I just went on Medicare last year...am sad to report that you still pay premiums, deductibles and copays - which ones and how much varies with which plans you choose but those with lower premiums have more out of pocket, etc. It is a complicated, not customer friendly (inflexible & costly penalties if an error is made), and fairly expensive healthcare system. In the 2020 debates I was behind Medicare for All but now that I deal with & am educated on Medicare we need something even better than that system.

He ranted for smokers rights when he smoked. To him whatever he does is right and everything he doesn't do is wrong. He doesn't want to have kids--all kids are bad and people are stupid for having them--same with marriage. If he was obese he would rant about prejudice to fat people.
