Yeah, the thumbnail talked about Mariano being some kind of live read god, but he folded top pair strong kicker on the river to small bet after checking the flop???? And that was a snap fold!!!
All-in was the only play for Mariano. If he calls the 30, the rest is going in on the river. Go all-in and take the pot down there. Calling in that spot only if you have the nuts
That exploitative fold was total garbage w/ AQ. The 50% sizing made Mariano think, "No way he is bluffing." But, Mariano under-repped his hand by checking FLOP, in position, from Harry's perspective, Mariano had a very weak ace AT BEST.
He gets under your skin. Imagine if you are a player. It works. That is why he is a top player. I was annoyed too, but after seeing what he does I got entertained.
