I like how the KonMari method gives you permission to get rid of things. Like sometimes you feel like well, it's still good quality or I can still use it or I spent money on it - better keep it. The KonMari method allows you to say no, if you really hate it, you don't have to keep it. That plus thanking the item helps remove some of the guilt you can feel around getting rid of things.

This video just fits what I'm doing at the moment. For 3 weeks+ now, I'm tidying up my room. I film the process, digitalise and archive all stuff that I need to safe. I am almost finished. Then I need to put the remaining stuff in labelled boxes. It makes me really happy to have less stuff that weights me down (even though I don't interfere with it). Greetings from Germany! You could get one of those shoe storage things that hangs from the back of your door. Then you can put it on thr back of your closet door so you can see everything whenever you open your closet. And the one I'm thinking is usually clear so you see what each shoe looks like. Dual uses yay
I love the KonMari method. I moved every 2-3 years when I was a kid/ teenager and I feel like that has made me better and figuring out if something is actually worth the space it takes up. Plus I moved to NYC from Sydney a year ago with only 1 suitcase and a carry on, needless to say I was brutal in the cleaning beforehand and now I am in a tiny NYC apartment I organize and donate things once a month. It just makes things much easier for me. I am always wearing clothing I love and I love everything I own.
If you take the lid off the bottom of your nightstand box, you have a compartment to organize more things in. I've been using the lids of boxes I have for smaller organizational things too. I love Marie Kondo's folding method. I read her book and started a few years ago but my husband and I lost momentum. Her new series has got me going again! My house has never looked better. I just have trouble finding nice storage boxes! Not finished yet, but it's nice to see a finish line! Also Happy Birthday!

My only comment for the finished bin under the bed, is KonMari method recommends using pasteboard boxes, like what is in the bedside table! You could use the lid inside the table, and the box in the large container, so you can subcatagorize the ticklers and blindfolds into one box, the restraining items in another, etc. It can help you cut down time planning before play.
