Look; this is just BS that the preferred look is that which is supported by a bra. I defy anyone to do a survey of men asking if they prefer the bra or no bra look (on any size bust) to get any result other than "definitely no bra". A survey of women might be different but I would wonder how much of their opinion is colored by what they think men prefer. As to the other reasons you mentioned: comfort, sweating and definitely for sport activities-those are legitimate reasons. However, from just appearance; every guy I know would say "burn the bras". What really drives this bra mania is the bra manufacturers and the billions of dollars at stake. All the media ads hyping the "perky" or "pushed together/pushed up" look. What a load of sh*t! Women are so abused by the fashion and cosmetic industries (with many of the largest companies being run and even founded by women). These companies and the ad agencies that suck on the tit of their bank rolls; prey on the fact that women make mostly emotional purchasing decisions and charge ridiculous amounts of money for clothing, cosmetics,jewelry and bras. Men are suckers too but for different things like cars drifting in every car commercial or a truck hauling something huge or the latest workout contraption. If your a woman and would like to get a higher response rate from men(no matter what your bust size, no matter what your age: For one month-every where you can get away with it-go bra less and I guarantee you will get more attention. Here's the thing though- you have to be willing to get the attention of any man; not just the ones your attracted to because that's what the "no bra" look will get you-the attention of just about any man that you walk by. And why is that? Because (almost) every man prefers that look and thanks to the bra manufacturers and their ad agencies-it's a too rare sight. You'll also get the attention of some women who may not like it. Why? Because they don't have the self confidence to do it and they don't want the guy their with to notice the woman that does have that confidence. Btw-no bra beats padded bra in the long run. Some guys might be more likely to ask you out, because your padded bra suggested something that's not completely there, but will he stick around when he sees the reality? As far as I, as a person with adhd, understand, there are many social situations where having adhd means, it potentially COULD bring a lot of empathy for other people struggling with things, just like you mentioned in terms of rejection sensitivity. I am wondering now, if in a lot of these situations a person with adhd tends to NOT be empathetic, or even seems to be without visible connection to the struggles people are going through, can this possibly be one of the signs for people having adhd and aspergers at the same time?
