I love the fact she does not force or makes people throw out their stuff. It is entirely their choice. Her biggest mission, it seems through tidying, to make people feel happier in their life by focusing on things, whether objects, places or experiences, that hold value in the eyes of that particular person. I can say by choosing to focus on things that matter to me and make me happy has helped me face my fears of forgetting or losing things when it comes to objects. Objects don't have value if they do not make you happy. Plain and simple.
There's something truly fascinating about Marie Kondo's psychology. She could easily be under a OCD diagnose (she said she even passed out!), but instead of medicating or trying to get rid of her order and tidying needs, she found a way to make it work for herself and for million others, for that matter

You have not really studied her. Her style is simple. White top, nice skirt. The skirt can be black, floral, long, short. It allows her to get up and quickly get dressed. If you watch the videos on Netflix, you will see, it's like her style brand. It calms people when she comes to visit them.
