His mother died from Alzheimer's disease, his dad died a couple weeks ago, he lost the love of his life, no siblings, no kids. I applaud him for giving us as much attention as he can afford on stage. Long Live one of the most controversial, intelligent, mold breaking, belief challenging, intellectual people in the industry! Never sold out, always been himself! 🤘MM🤘
Lea I just saw his twitter the other day and he had posted about it. Poor guy lost his dad, his mom, and his cat in the last 2 years. He had dedicated The Pale Emperor to his mother who had died of Alzheimer's during production

Seeing some people say he should've quit so he doesn't embarrass himself with this. Well I feel like part of the reason me and many others love Marilyn is because he fucks societal image. He doesn't care you think he sounds bad now, he loves music, his art, and performing, let him do it.
Jason Hollahan I personally think the man is doing great for what he's been through recently. It takes strength to continue doing your job when you've been hit with major blows, and I have to respect that.
He lost his mom, dad, and a while ago his beloved pet kitty Lily White...all he has left is his few close friends and us- his fans. We are his family now.

Noone was scared..the media made him into that..he's actually a good dude with a bad rep from media bashing and jealousy from ex's .just like Johnny Depp...one of the nicest genuine people who was made into a monster...don't believe everything u hear or read. U will learn that one day ,I hope
Hard to believe he's lost both his parents in short a time span, I dont give a fuck what people are saying about his performance, the dudes done drugs , and been thru hell! im just grateful he's still alive, most Real rockstars are dead
So he isn't the same as when he was 25. Who is? I'm am not a Mansonite, but I can appreciate what he has given the music world over the past 20 years. He will be one of those that people will talking about how great he was after he is gone but ignore him today!
I know he will never get back his skills and talent that he had when he was young but if he wants to make music and tour, He can do what he wants. It's obvious people still want to see him. So no more hating to the negative people...dun dun dunt.....
Think this is the best Manson has sounded in a long time, from interviews it sounds like he's started to take care of himself more, so hopefully he will continue to improve his sound. But to everyone complaining that he doesn't sound like he did in 2003 (over 12 years ago!) It's not going to happen, the damage is done, just try and enjoy the now. His screaming sounds great, his singing is improving, just listen to White World and Say10 here. If he improves his physical condition and health he may improve even more.
AbandonedbyLightBand LMAO! You're delusional! The truth is right there. He sucks now. He doesn't try anymore and his performance sucks! Age and his vocals isn't a factor he just obviously doesn't practice anymore and put any effort in any of his vocals. Look at the old shit and the now. You wanna spend money on tickets and get a shit show, it's on you pal. But I calls it as I sees it, and Manson doesn't try anymore. He's banking off of his name alone. The Antichrist Superstar is dead. LOOK AT HIM! He's a MESS!
I agree, he's sounding a lot better than he did when he toured in 2016. He also seems to be enjoying life more, if interviews are anything to go by which is great! At this point I'm mostly interested in seeing him do well as a person :)
tgiacin435 saw him in Brixton Academy, London. Think it was 1999. Full of aggression, energy, enthusiasm and put on a hell of a performance. Sadly we all get older and he's performed the same songs for nearly 20 years so naturally won't have the same "drive" for want of a better term. Still better than watching a popstar miming and twerking lol
Many ppls sayin that Manson is not Menson anymore, that he's best years past long ago. WTF are u talkin about!? In young years he was just screaming, braking his voice. Now I hear that he can sing like it should, he sounds way better and right, now. Gj with coach. MM forever! BTW, this is he's best live that i seen, just awesome.
My fav singer has gone through lots of hard times. He lost his mother & father, then his beloved cat Lily White, who passed away sometime ago. All he has left now is a few close friends, and his Mansonites. I adore Marilyn Manson, and I'm sorry for all the sh*t he went through. We are his family now. We love you Manson 🖤
Holy shit new music by the anarchist superstar himself. My fucking hero! Take your time on putting out the album brother. You been through alot. Can't wait to buy it. Andi will follow your art to the grave MR. Manson!
You guys have to understand this man has been through shit. His parents, and his pet died in the last two years. Have you guys read the long road out of hell, the book he made? Yeah, the dude has been through a lot. He sounds a lot better in this video than a lot of his last. He went to rehab before his father passed away, to get help. I’m happy he’s doing better with addiction. He deserves a good life
@@liamsmith2340 why? Obviously the sound will never be the same as 15 years ago. And I would like to see how would you sing through a concert, perform and try to amuse the crowd after losing the closest people. The fact that he didn’t cancel the concert after it already deserves respect
Rockalypse and he lost his ( power ) "to scream and shout" like back then he was crazy, now he's a legend that's being killed in the inside from aging.
Unfortunately he is not in a good shape on stage for a long time -- may be drunk, on drugs, sick, or tired -- I do not know the reason but he has no energy and focus on stage.
Probably the last real "rockstar" the world will see for a long time or maybe even the last one ever. Perfect combination of controversy, intrigue, mystery, debauchery, originality and talent. In his prime you really got your moneys worth going to an MM show (Ive been to a few myself). Unfortunately the screaming takes it toll on a singers voice (not to mention the booze and illegal substances). I don't think he took care of his voice over the years and so now he can't handle the screaming night after night. It sucks but he wouldn't be the first singer to ever lose a singing voice after years. He has given his fans many years of his best during his prime and I am grateful but it's sad to see him perform like this. He even moves and acts totally different on stage now, he looks uncomfortable. I love ya MM but when you live life as hard as you did in that short amount of time it eventually will catch up to you but you gave the world some awesome stuff so there is no shame.
And he's still giving the world amazing music to this day. And, he still has his good moments on stage. Especially on this tour. That ambient version of say10 was fuckin badass.
Damian Gaglio thank you for that comment! I totally agree with you. I think this wasn't this bad. His screaming was very much on point and he didn't do so much strange stuff. I think his Shows are getting better again. When I look back to 2015,he was totally broke. But his show in Wacken this year was just awful. But the show he did after Wacken was so amazing! In the last years his father and his mother died and I think that it was the thing that destroyed him.
P&R Studios Kids on the Camera! I think it is just time too, if you go see Robert Plant now he can't sing the way he did when he was young and in led zeppilen. Its just a natural thing and you mix that with screaming your lungs out night after night for years it's not a reflection of the man. I see so many people on here being so harsh but let them try to do it and see how great they are. As a singer I can tell you that the voice, unlike a guitar or drum set, does not work exactly the same everytime and does not sound better with age so there are many steps that need to be taken in order for it to sound good even for a fraction of the time. People, as usual on the internet, judge and think anybody wants to see their stupidity written out when the fact is they can't do the thing they mock so easily. "I wasn't born with enough middle fingers" sums it up pretty well when it comes to internet commentary
Thank you for the upload! Damn, his voice is sounding better and better with each show. I usually skip songs like Sweet Dreams, (m)OBSCENE, and Disposable Teens because he sounds so out of breath (or bored), but he's really nailing it this tour! ^m^
