When I was 13 I bought this concert on DVD at a Barnes and nobles...was obsessed with it, until my parents took it away from me 15 years later im watching it here on RU-vid and love it just as much
Yhea i know his music make you see the reality where we lived today so Marylin are making music than nobody can,t only imagine or write i lo ve his original way to ignite your feeling with every song lml
Total perfection from this one. Visuals, audio, performance, song list, size of crowd, energy, makeup... all of it, perfection. The bastards that saw this live have one hell of a story to tell.
I miss Zim Zum. I agree that John5 is a better guitar player than Zim techically but Zim Zum is better overall. I think the best MM line was during 1996-1998. Bizzare 97 their best concert!!!!
Oooh....take me back to this era, please! My favourite Manson era is Holy Wood. Just listening to the album, pics, live shows, band pics takes me right back to 2000-01 and being 14-16 years old. Group of fellow pupils at my school went to see him at the London Docklabds Arena in Jan 2001, so wish I had seen him on that tour. Didn't see him until 2007 and although I have always had a great gig with Manson, no questioning the Manson you see here is miles away from the Manson we have now. I loved him as a lanky, skinny freak and seeing him in this show, filmed as if it was yesterday, is quite odd when you compere this to how he is now.

I got to see them three times on this tour. I first saw them in greensboro, North carolina, in 2000, the day before the album dropped. My local record store sold albums the day before the release as an illegal sales tactic so I stopped and bought a copy before heading to the show. What a day! I saw them again twice in the summer of 2001, once at the House of Blues in Myrtle Beach and then at Ozzfest in charlotte just a few days later. What a time to be alive!
There were some good damn times, but it's all gone for this country, actually I am wondering if Rok'n Roll contributed to brainwashing liberal minds, that now are driving this country nuts........
he isn't lip syncing, the sound was recorded separate from the video clips. the sound and some video are from his performance in los angeles, but there are different clips from different shows throughout the tour
This is the most amazing live of Marilyn Manson. Bravo myluv MM👏 I will always be your number 1 fan😘 Much love Mairlyn Manson🖤🖤🖤 Thanks for sharing this magnificent live. Sending my full support. Rock n Roll🤘🔥🎸
This right here is one of rock/metals greatest performers at the peak of their art. What he became after 2005 was a cartoon character of what we expected from these days. 98-04 was prime manson before the drugs took complete control.
@@timgonzales2891 Manson did a mix of unsafe screaming without technique (earlier work) and safe fry (mostly Holy Wood and onwards, though Antichrist Superstar wasn't *terrible*). What really fucked up his voice though was all the drugs and drinking. His voice is still mostly fine but he has a lot less control. It's a big difference between now and say the Golden Age of Grotesque where he had very good scream technique.
I loved his chariot and explosive entrance.💥 THAT got the fans going from the very beginning, man!! A truly Awesome Show!! Johnny 5 is an amazing musician. I would've loved what was left of his guitar at the end!!🎸🤘🏻

JUST AMAZING!!! 🤩 & now he’s sober and I got my ticket to see him for the first time live ever in August on his tour with Slaughter To Prevail and Five Finger Death Punch 🥊 I can’t wait he’s sober and looking healthier than ever looks like Manson from the 90’s again!!! & I dropped $640 to get THE MARILYN MANSON VIP MEET AND GREET PACKAGE 📦!!! I’m sooo f’ing stoked seeing him live when he’s sober and looking healthier than he has in awhile and also meeting him I’m so happy glad THE GOD OF FUCK IS BACK! & The Vampire 🧛♂️ King 👑 MANSON IS JUST AWESOME!!! 🖤🖤🖤🖤 THE GOAT 🐐 MARILYN MANSON.
To think in 2001 I was a teen but mr. Manson here was a grown man singing disposable teens makes me laugh. He was young at heart. If I listen to this song lyrics disposable teens at my age now I can't relate. 😂 I think I was at this concert.
No he is not lyp syncing and no this isnt multiple shows. The actual DVD is multiple shows. This is just one show. And the reason the audio sounds soo perfect is A. This lineup was the best fucking lineup B. Manson was in peak form at this point in his career and C. Its called video editing and audio cleanup!
Interviews with producers of commercially-released live albums typically state that the drums and some instruments are recorded live, whereas the vocals are nearly always overdubbed in the studio. These vocals don't sound live to me. Nevertheless, it's a great recording from a killer artist.
There’s also a jump-cut at 03:44, the camera holds a medium shot on Manson, and as it does his expression and posture abruptly cut to completely different positions for a fraction of a second, then the camera cuts back to the original shot again. This doesn’t necessarily mean the intercut medium shot is from a different show, but this is definitely not a “just point the cameras and roll” live recording situation, there’s some editing magic happening. And that’s not unusual for a live album or film or video recording, to capture two or three or four consecutive shows and splice the best error-free high energy bits together. That doesn’t mean the band aren’t in peak form, though, I agree that they are.
Yeah did you guys even read this guy's comment? The audio is from one show but the video is from multiple shows, go look at other live footage from this era and you'll see that his voice was just great around this time
Believe me, it took me a while to get into this guy, but eventually I got into him. I heard "No Reflection" and then began listening a little bit more to the guy. I started liking more and more songs and now he takes up most of my iPod. My favorite song is probably "The Fight Song." Lots of people can relate because although many people may assume angry music has no meaning, there is PLENTY in this guy's. Lyrical genius, one of the best.

I just love watching these shows... in my opinion manson's golden age was 1995-2005... although he still puts out great music his live shows just aren't what they used to be...
no no no karelia me encanta manson pero arriba hay un comentario estúpido que dice que mansión es la copia versión disney de dir en grey esa es la basura que la gente no debería escuchar saludos 😘
At times I'm sure bandmembers might reflect on how far they each have come as they look out to a sea of faces of a Sold-Out Show!! Think back on the little bars, pubs & small clubs, of how intimate those shows were to then morph into a night like this!! It's GOT TO FEEL AMAZING!! To feel larger than life. A feeling most of us will never experience. As a Fan, one thing I feel is being grateful to all my favorite Bands, watching them exercise their God given Talent with enjoyment and gratitude. In so many instances some wonderful songs that have pulled me through some difficult times in my life. Grateful is my job in all this, fulfilling MY PURPOSE is how it's meant to be.🤘🏻
Yeah, either the vocals have been over dubbed for the end result and viewing performance, or he's miming. His vocals are too perfectly pitched for this live performance and sound too perfect in the mix of what's going on. Probably over dubbed. Good shit, thought!
