Marilyn Monroe Hair Tutorial [Niagara 1953] 

This is a wet set hair tutorial that will teach you how to achieve Marilyn Monroe’s hairstyle from the 1953 movie, Niagara. This look works best when you have the proper vintage haircut. My hair is all 7in from root to end, and that shag cut is what gives the proper curly layering effect. I use 1.25” foam rollers and Lottabody setting lotion to do my wetset. Then I either sleep in them, or I use my blow dryer hood attachment, which I demonstrate in the video! And yes it looks ridiculous! But that’s okay because it turns out nice! This is such a beautiful vintage hairstyle, perfectly 1950s and flattering on soooo many people. If you want to cut your hair yourself, I also have a hair cutting video which will give similar results. Just make sure you cut your hair 7in all around instead of 4.5in, which gives a slightly different effect.
