Yes. I'm originally from San Francisco. When I was a little girl in the eay 1960's, I loved how people dressed up to go shopping downtown. Women wore hats, gloves, fur stoles and men wore suits, hats and ties.

Everyone knows that Marilyn was not a real blonde. Her real hair color was chestnut brown - brown with red highlights. Her makeup artist was Whitey Snyder and Agnes Flanagan was her stylist. She used various hair stylists depending on the occasion and location. The platinum shade used was created/custom mixed FOR HER ONLY. This color was named by her hairstylist as "Pillow Slip White." I'm 70 and know a lot about Marilyn from first-hand accounts of people who knew her. Our next door neighbor in South Pasadena, an actor, knew her personally, and a family friend lived next door to her. Our family friend was an artist and had lived in her house for many years. Then Spring 1962, Marilyn Monroe moved in next door. Her house was an identical Spanish hacienda. We used to have our July 4th picnics at our friend's home and could see MM's pool through the trees that bordered their properties. The last time I was there was July 4th 1962. I was 11 at the time. Marilyn was murdered one month to the day later. She died on Aug. 4th, not 5th. The detective said that she died around 10-10:30 p.m. on August 4th. Her personal physicians, Engelberg and Greenson waited several hours to report her death because they had to help stage the crime scene to make it look like an overdose (they did a lousy job of that!). Bobby and Peter Lawford also had PI Fred Otash do a clean sweep of her entire home to pull out all surveillance equipment, so that took some time. There had been a half dozen agencies - FBI, CIA, Teamsters (Hoffa), Giancana (Mafia) and others listening 24/7. The best MM book I've read of all of them, and I've read close to 100 about her, is "Bombshell: The Night Bobby Kennedy Killed Marilyn Monroe" by Mike Rothmiller. Rothmiller worked for LAPD's OCID Dept. (top secret files) at that time and only he and the Chief had keys to the files that contained highly sensitive tapes and information regarding Marilyn and her various affairs with the Kennedys and others. Her murder was recorded on Fred Otash's tapes and several others. That's why the Kennedys told him to go in there and do a "clean sweep" before they called the authorities to report her death -- so there would be no evidence of what they did. The woman in this clip doesn't look or sound anything like Marilyn and is exploiting her memory. She really should educate herself more on Marilyn if she's going to make a living off her. The house on 5th Helena was the only home Marilyn ever owned. She bought it in February 1962 and moved in during March. Our artist friend and other neighbors were playing cards and saw RFK and Peter Lawford enter her home twice on August 4th 1962. They also heard the loud altercation that ensued between Bobby and Marilyn. Later, after dark, Bobby arrived with Peter and all hell broke loose. According to Mike Rothmiller, former LAPD, Bobby gave Marilyn "something" to drink to calm her down. Many years later, Lawford confided to Rothmiller that after Marilyn finished the drink, she soon lost consciousness. He said that he assumed that she was dead. That's when he and Bobby left because Lawford had to get Bobby back on a plane, in secret, to San Francisco before daylight so the cameras would record him with his family at church in San Francisco that morning. It was all part of the cover-up. Rothmiller said LAPD's "goon squad" arrived as RFK and Lawford were leaving. They were brought in by RFK and JFK to make sure the job was done and all evidence destroyed. They wanted Marilyn silenced before she went to the press that Monday. Rothmiller said that when Peter Lawford spoke to him years later, he was a broken man consumed with guilt about the role he played in Marilyn's murder. Reading Rothmiller's book gave me chills because what he said Bobby was yelling on the tapes was verbatim what our family friend told my parents she and other neighbors heard that evening. RFK was shrieking at Marilyn in his very recognizable Bostonian accent. No one sounded like RFK but RFK - and they had already seen him enter her home more than once. There was no question that it was Bobby Kennedy yelling at Marilyn. My mother finally told me everything our neighbor had told her and my father when I was much older and in college. Everything my mother told me their friend (and other MM neighbors) heard that night is in Rothmiller's book, some of it verbatim, so I know it's the truth. Our friend had no reason to lie. What she and neighbors heard was fantastic - and frightening - enough. They were listening to Bobby Kennedy, the Attorney General and brother of the POTUS, screaming at/fighting with the world's most famous movie star at the time. It scared the living hell out of them.

Marilyn Monroe did not live in the house with DiMaggio. He may have loaned her some money to buy it, trying to ingratiate himself to her because he was desperate to get her to remarry him. She had been dating screenwriter/actor Jose Bolanos for several months and they had gone to Mexico together to buy furniture, Mexican tiles, and light fixtures for her new Spanish hacienda on 5th Helena. There was some talk of her and DiMaggio remarrying, but once was enough for Marilyn. DiMaggio had been very violent, abusive towards her, both verbally and physically, during their very short marriage (9 months). He was insanely jealous and possessive and continued to stalk Marilyn day and night after their divorce. Marilyn was an obsession for him. It wasn't love, it was obsession. After their divorce, he paid Mattel $10K (100K+ today) to make him a life-size Marilyn sex doll - to his exact specifications, including her favorite shade of lipstick and nail polish. This is all detailed in the book written by his manager/travel companion. His manager details how he saw the doll more than once. He said Joe traveled with it, it had its own special suitcase. He said Joe showed it to several people - was actually PROUD of it. (One gets the impression that DiMaggio was a bit of a sex maniac.) A flight attendant who dated him briefly also saw the doll. Joe had invited her for a romantic weekend at a NYC hotel for a romantic weekend, but when she walked in the bedroom Joe was in bed with a life-size Marilyn doll and offered to demonstrate what the doll could do. She was so freaked out by what she saw and what he said to her, she ran out of the room and never spoke to him again. She states in the book that she had a nervous breakdown after what she saw and had to go into therapy. DiMaggio also orchestrated the infamous "wrong door raid" one evening. He thought Marilyn was having an affair with someone in an apartment building and he enlisted Frank Sinatra's help to barge in and break down the apartment door with an ax. They entered the wrong apartment and scared the hell out of a woman who had been sound asleep. She woke up to the sounds of shattering glass and people breaking down her front door. Obviously, Joe DiMaggio was not the "nice guy" in private that he purported to be in public. Many saw the bruises he inflicted on Marilyn. She told her close friends and those she worked with that Joe scared the hell out of her and he would kill her one day if she did not leave him. He was so jealous that when she had to work late on a movie set, he would accuse her of being with other men and beat her up. That's why she left after just 9 months with him. She had no thoughts of remarrying him ever. His manager said that he also had alienated himself from his family due to his cruel treatment of several of them. His manager said, towards the end of his life Joe didn't have a friend left, just him. He said his family was nice enough to "show up" for his funeral -- but that was it!

She's exploiting her for her own ego and self-gain, and is absolutely clueless in some of the comments she makes about her. Marilyn had only lived in that house 5-6 months before she was murdered. She was still decorating and furnishing it when she died. She bought the house in February of 62 and moved in the following month. This is all well documented. Over the years, she had lived in an apartment off Doheny and various other West Hollywood locations, as well as Chateau Marmont. Anyone who has read even just a book or two about Marilyn knows that. I'm 70 and have read nearly every book written about her. I grew up in that area - and at that time. I was only 11 in '62, but I remember how whenever I walked through the living room when we visited our friend who was Marilyn's neighbor, all the adults talked in hushed tones and would stop the moment I came into the room. The "goings-on" next door were too salacious for an 11-year old's ears. I wasn't told the full details until years later when I was in college. Over the years there were demands by the American public to reopen the Monroe case and find out what really happened. Decades later, LAPD decided to reopen the Monroe case, but the subsequent investigation of her death by LAPD was just a sham, an orchestrated ruse (probably by the Kennedys) to "shut up the public" and put the whole matter to rest once and for all. LAPD Detective Mike Rothmiller has stated as much. He was working for LAPD's OCID at the time of her death. Only he and Chief William Parker had access to LAPD's files on Marilyn's death investigation. Detective Rothmiller confirmed Marilyn's death was a murder. It was ordered by JFK and carried out "on the scene" by his ruthless brother, Bobby Kennedy. Peter Lawford was also there. LAPD knows the truth but will never reveal it because a U.S. President, and his Attorney General brother, were both involved. LAPD Detective Jack Clemmons, who was the first cop on the scene, stated on camera that he knew within 10 minutes of examining the scene that it was a homicide. He said it was very poorly staged to look like she took an overdose. He saw the lividity on Marilyn's back, but she had been placed/staged on her side. The pill bottles on her nightstand had been staged. All were emptied but the caps neatly put on. If you're killing yourself, you don't bother to put the caps back on the bottles. There was no glass of water - nothing - for her to be able to swallow a large quantity of pills. And there is no way that she could have orally ingested that many pills. She would have been rendered unconscious before she could take them all. Det. Clemmons theorized Marilyn had been killed in the guest house, then her body placed on the bed in her bedroom to make it appear she overdosed. He observed Mrs Murray washing bedding in the middle of the night, an obvious attempt to destroy evidence. She was extremely evasive when he questioned her. She changed her story many times over the years, but when she knew she was dying she finally admitted that it was no overdose and she was tired of having to "keep it all secret." Clemmons said Dr. Ralph Greenson was very defensive and arrogant towards him rather than expressing remorse or grief over his famous patient's death. Clemmons did not like Greenson AT ALL and suspected that he was very involved in Marilyn's murder. When an LA cop stopped a visibly drunk Peter Lawford for speeding near Marilyn's house in the early morning hours of 8/5, he recognized Bobby Kennedy sitting in the back seat, and Dr. Greenson sitting next to Peter. Marilyn's press secretary, Pat Newcomb was there at Marilyn's home screaming "Why did you have to kill her?" She knew the truth and was inconsolable. The Kennedys quickly whisked her out of the U.S., paid for her to take a long European vacation "to forget", then gave her a job where they could keep a close eye on her and make SURE she kept her mouth shut. To this day Newcomb has not said a word about what she knows -- and she knows exactly what happened. Our family friend/neighbor of Marilyn told my parents what she and other neighbors heard and observed going on at Marilyn's. She said they saw both RFK and JFK visiting Marilyn at her home on 5th Helena, Bobby more so. (Bobby fell hard for Marilyn, he was obsessed with her. To JFK, she was just another plaything.) Peter Lawford was usually with them, and sometimes men "in black suits" they assumed were Secret Service agents. FBI's director, J. Edgar Hoover hated the Kennedys as much as they hated him and had bugs placed in Marilyn's home to blackmail the brothers. Those tapes picked up her trysts with Bobby and Jack - and Hoover made sure that both brothers knew that he had irrefutable evidence - tapes - of their affairs with her. The brothers' political careers would have been destroyed if those were leaked. They decided they had to end it with Marilyn. It had become too hot a situation, especially after she had recently sung Happy Birthday to JFK in such a sexy, sultry manner on live television. I watched it with my parents on our B&W tv as it happened. It was May 19th, 1962. Marilyn walked out and jaws around the world dropped -- including our own! She was absolutely the most stunning woman imaginable, so feminine and sensuous,. You couldn't take your eyes off her -- and she looked naked in that gown. I remember my mother telling me to "cover my eyes!" I did but, of course, I was peeking through my fingers. I was only 11 but knew what I was witnessing was a VERY big deal -- and it would be a very big deal today. You had the world's sexiest movie star making love in song to the President of the United States... in front of the entire world on television! Of course Hollywood and the Press knew about his affairs, and even his affair with Marilyn, but now the whole world knew! It was "TMI" to the nth power! But Marilyn wouldn't go quietly and became, in JFK's words, "a problem." That's how JFK referred to Marilyn from that point on. When Bobby told Marilyn "it's OVER!", Marilyn essentially told him to "go F" himself! Who the hell did he think she was, one of his cheap little bimbos? She was Marilyn Monroe, the biggest star on the planet! "She left men, they didn't leave her!" She SNAPPED and told Bobby she was tired of being "passed around like a piece of meat!" by him and his brother. She threatened to go to the press the following week and "blow the lid off the whole goddamn thing", tell the world of her affairs with both Bobby and Jack, plus ALL the top secret government information they had stupidly, recklessly revealed to her! That threat signed her death warrant. JFK sent Bobby to get rid of "the problem" that weekend before she made good on her threat and went to the Press. Marilyn was no bimbo in real life - and no shrinking violet. She was VERY intelligent and extremely articulate. Monroe was a voracious reader of the classics, history, psychology, politics, art, music. She once joked that the "sexiest woman in the world" spent her weekend nights...READING! She was a deep thinker, could quote Shakespeare and Robert Frost off the top of her head, had read extensively about Abraham Lincoln, and had an impressive vocabulary. Her interviews are stunningly revealing, showing glimpses of the real Norma Jeane underneath the Marilyn facade. She was no dummy and she didn't back down. Both Kennedy brothers knew that the Press, her fans - the WORLD - loved her. If she went to the press, it was ALL OVER for them. RIP Marilyn.🌹

I was there a few years ago with my oldest daughter who lives on the Central Coast. I made sure I wore my favorite Marilyn Monroe lipstick, Revlon's "Cherries in the Snow" to leave my kiss. 💋 It was one of Marilyn's favorite lipsticks (still sold). After paying our respects, we drove approximately 2 miles to 5th Helena . I had not been there since July 4th 1962! We took photos of the outside of her gate and the bougainvillea Marilyn had planted all those many years ago, which towered above us. It was very poignant to see the plants she herself had planted. She had planted a lot of flowers and perennials. Gardening was one of her favorite hobbies, reading another. (I can relate!). Marilyn should have died an old lady admiring her flowers and bougainvillea, but like Princess Diana, Marilyn "refused to go quietly" and paid the ultimate price. I made a correction...William Palmer was the LAPD Chief at the time. He was good friends with the Kennedys and was instrumental in the cover-up. The name that I had inserted prior was Theodore Curphey. He was LA's Chief Medical Examiner at the time and falsified her death certificate. Lionel Grandison, Coroner's aide, knew the truth and was quite brave, especially at that time. He twice refused to sign the death certificate as a witness because he knew "probable suicide" was a big lie, but when he had his job - and then his life - threatened, reluctantly capitulated. They didn't just threaten your life, they threatened your whole family! However, after Parker and RFK passed away, Grandison was quite outspoken about what really happened to Marilyn. He saw her body with his own two eyes. There were bruises around her rectum. They surmised an enema had been forcibly administered with a lethal dose of the drugs prescribed to her. This would make it look like she had taken an overdose. However, the level of drugs in her system was so extraordinarily high that there was no possible way that she could have orally ingested that many pills. She would have been rendered unconscious before she could have swallowed them all. There were also bruises on her upper arms indicating she had been forcibly held down. It was definitely a murder and not an overdose. Anyone who thinks this was an overdose has not done the research. JFK saw her as "a problem" and told Bobby to get rid of her. She was going to destroy both their careers if she didn't shut up. My parents voted for Kennedy. He was dazzling in his oratory, a charismatic leader, and he had that "rascally" personality. On the surface, he was incredibly charming and dynamic. He was the "Bill Clinton" of the '60s. However, the more you read about the Kennedys, the more corrupt they become! 😉 Marilyn's murder was captured on various bugs placed in her ceiling and under the carpet in her home. PI Fred Otash had installed one of them and he was ordered by the Kennedys to go in there that evening and "clean sweep" Marilyn's home of all bugs. That's why there was such a delay between the estimated time of her death, which was 10:30 p.m., 8/4... and 4:00 AM, 8/5 when the authorities were finally notified. @@emilerose1424 shes white with short blonde curls, and dresses similarly to her. There is really a resemblance, however as it is MM's signature look she wears it makes sense why people they look alike. Regardless, Jasmine looks amazing.

@@elluc1510 I myself have been studying Monroe's life for 20 years and work for the longest running Marilyn Monroe fan Club in History.. Marilyn Remembered (been going since 1982) and the founder and President of the Club has one of the largest collection of personal items and public items that Marilyn owned. I'm surrounded by experts on her life and all agree that no photographic evidence exists of Marilyn living there. But she did sign 2 bank cheques from that address.. so that's cool :) One of which is very important to Marilyn's history, as it proves she was somewhere else on the date that some lunatic claims he married her! (The same lunatic that started all the Kennedy/murder conspiracy nonsense!) You should check the club out! :)

@@ln5135 I have challenged jasmine on this claim about the photo, which I think was actually taken in palm springs. But surprisingly she didn't reply but that's not unusual when jasmine is questioned about the truth. Is the man in question bob Slatzer?
